New trap idea - the Slap Trap
Hi, guys.
Got an idea for a new trap; the Slap Trap.
Players would get 2 traps (one at TH6, the second at TH8) that would basically be a Jack-in-a-Box style hand that would spring out of the ground, each Slap Trap slapping away one single spell in a random direction by a few (say, 5) tiles. It would take up 1 tile space, similar to air bombs/spring traps. A player would only get 2 in total and they would have a small effect radius making placement crucial.
Like most traps, it would make it harder for attackers.
Those hogrider-heal spell attacks for example, might not be so effective if the spell was knocked aside by just a few tiles, or that air defense that someone dropped those 3 lightning spells on to support his dragon spam attack didn't get the full brunt of the 3 spells. Or that freeze spell on the inferno towers was slightly off to the side...
Like I said, it would benefit the defense, but isn't that what traps are for?
I'm sure that people who attack a lot would object, but for anyone who had watched a load of hogs almost get killed by that GB, then a heal spell drops on them all and makes it like the GB was never there, those people might like the idea. It's just an idea.
Many thanks.
