[Screenshot] Worst Base Design Contest

Throughout my time in Clash of Clans, I've noticed a lot of "bad" base designs. I always get a chuckle out of them, so I thought it might be fun to have a thread full of them. The kind of thing I'm talking about is like wooden walls precariously placed with a TH9, or elaborate bases that have huge areas where you can spawn inside the walls, etc.

Also, in addition to posting screenshots of "fail" bases, you can post "artwork" or creative bases. (i.e. Spelling out words, shapes, etc.)

I'll post some of the ones I've found below. Out of courtesy, please white out the player names from the bases before posting. Thank you.

I like finding bases of people who have either quit the game or just don't understand the basic principles of defense.

A lot of the people who have these terrible bases like bought a ton of gems to upgrade all their defensive structures to max before actually learning the basics of the game lol. More money than sense I suppose.

I admit to being more than a little confused when I came across this base. I was going to post it, but there are several buried threads I remember that showed strange bases like this one in the past. Those six random skull walls just make me scratch my head :confused:

Nope, but I can picture the scenario.

Munchkin: "Daddy, look what I did! Isn't it pretty?"

Father: "Holy Fuc....fantastic! Wow, it's...so...creative." LOL

Or worse yet, it is a kid who got on his Dad's iPad, downloaded CoC, and with no real understanding that the little green shiny stones you are getting to make things go faster costs money :p

Yep, that's pretty much what happened. My kid deleted the troop camps. So I made him his own account and gave him an outdated refurbished ipad 2.

You're at a really low trophy count, so yeah down there you'll find plenty of weirdly defended bases

Being a farmer you pretty much expect to come across weird things on a daily basis, but this was the first time I saw a base with such a strange variety of walls. You are absolutely right as far as the design is concerned; I've seen a million bases like this one sub 300 trophies.

They were all maxed for lvl 8. I was training up my troops and was like "WTH, why can't I make more troops?" "Why is my layout rearranged?" I made a separate folder on the ipad2, sucked it up, and just slowly trained up the camps that were deleted. I used the elixir glitch (pre-update) to max my camps so no real big loss.

It could've been King Henery VIII's 6 wives.....

The walls in the middle were Henry's wives that died or executed, the two walls between them are the ones that got divorced, and the last one was Henry's last wife, which was widowed.

that's the famous numbers guy - not actually got a bad base now.

That is messed up for so many reasons.

I wonder how many people who complain about being attacked by higher levels have bases that look like this?

As a side note, why can't I ever get these?!?! I see poorly defended layouts often, but never anything like in this thread.

Lol, they're both pretty hilarious. IDK how people could so severely not understand the basics of defense at that point in the game. It's probably either people on a gem splurge or they were designing their base and logged off in the middle of it.

@dahmi: I see maybe 1-2 per day. They seem to be all over the place in 1200-1400. (mostly in the 1200s, I don't go there so much anymore since the 50% nerf.)

Those are my stomping grounds, so I dunno. Maybe I'm just not paying attention or the ones I get don't have many resources. I click next rapidly if I see small amounts of resources on offer.

Go to http://imgur.com/

Under "Upload images" click "Computer"

find your image on your computer and select it

Click "Start upload" you will then get the bar moving from left to right
