Shattered LavaLoonion vs TH10 and SINGLE infernos - A problem?

To continue my little series on Shattered LavaLoonion, here is another ALMOST 3 star (all defences down, 98% and ran out of time) showcasing how to do a successful Shattered LavaLoonion. Someone asked on my last video if it would be possible against single infernos. Now the TH10 in this clan war attack is basically just a max TH9 with infernos, but those infernos do make a difference, especially when they are single infernos like in this attack.


Apart from being a bit slow, the technique here is absolutely excellent on all accounts and there are a lot of tips to pick up on how to perform a good shattered LavaLoonion on TH9 or TH10 especially if you are looking for 3 stars.

So to answer the question - can you risk shattered against single infernos? Yes you can. As long as you think you have enough time to get those first ADs, CC & AQ down, then your good to go, and he manages to do that in this video.

Whether or not he would have been as successful on a max TH10, I don't know... probably not. But I'll try and get a vid of an attempt on one soon so we can see. Enjoy:

An awesome attack Chucky and thanks for the tips, I'm trying shattered and CB currently at TH9 level. This is a v weak TH10 so it is pretty much the same - thanks for that pal.

For a base like that where you are going in vs a single and tightly packed defenses without spaces for spring traps, why not bring 12 max giants instead? Probably hold up at least as long as the golems under single inferno fire and do a lot more damage besides. With 12 giants you could possibly substitute rage for jump as as well (letting giants chew through walls) and lets your heroes take down things much faster. Possible?

You're probably right - would most like have been much more effective against a single inferno - I think the jump would most likely still be necessary but I imagine the giants might last longer than the golem - would be an interesting theory to try out! Thanks for the idea.
