Just as troops are deployed from clan castles when being attacked the troops that are stationed in the army camps should deploy also in defence. Has anyone thought of that before?
so, if you attack my base, and I have 240 archers in my camps, those should attack you as well? This does 2 things:
1) makes clan castle troops useless
2) makes it impossible for you to star any base because not only are you taking on my defenses, you are taking on 240 other troops as well.
I think this wins the award of "worst suggestion today"
now consider how impossible it would be to attack if you not only had to contend with the base defences, but a full army as well
Program wise, it isn't doable, given how there is a time lag between what you see and what the other person is doing. The game is built to only allow one player on a given attack. Not only built, but optimized for it, taking into account lag and short moments of being disconnected.
Impractical would be an understatement.
Also, gameplay wise, it would change CoC way too much.
If say you do have so many Archer's and I'm attacking with say dragons and others wouldn't there be an advantage...the reason I suggest it is because those people out here that don't have troops in their clan castles. It could also be an option if there is no troops in castle to defend your camp your army troops should step up to protect you.
It is a moot point!
Game is not built that way, nor will it ever be built that way.
One person at a time per battle, and that's it, period.
He's not suggesting having 2 people attack a base, he's essentially suggesting having army camps double as a clan castle.
Your dragons would be destroyed having to Attack that many troops. As others suggest, it probably requires a ton of server resources as well. If you worry about not having cc troops, the fix is join a better clan.
Oh... :saywhat:

So an Army vs Army+Fortification? That's... lopsided. The game isn't even balanced for something like that. If I have a Barcher army setup, one could just zap the camps and move on to the attack. Or if I had all dragons, Ha! right, hit the [Next] button. You'll be using too much time and troops to even get to the loot.
How would you even code that to be pratical? Dump all troops at once? Have it time delayed?
Can you imagine the effort of trying to lure out a full army of troops and get rid of them? Troop timing and placement is critical, and the person defending has no way of making thier base deploy in a semi-intelligent vs another player. You'd have put in several more features just to even make it not look like something slapped together with construction paper and glue.
And then there is balancing the whole thing, which everyone else has already pointed out.
