Lightning Rod

This will be a trap, basically, anyone who builds this 'amazing' trap will notice that it absorbs the effect of lightning spells, however, it takes damage instead, since it has the beautiful health amount of approximately 2 health, also absorbing one whole lightning blast dropping a random number of DE between 500 and 1200...

However, once it's one use is up you must rearm it, with DE, basically what happens is you must pay 1500 dark elixir to rearm it, PLUS the number that the other player who sprung the trap got in DE.

So basically, you can save the DE in your storage!!!

Also, it's build cost is 2 million gold, it's cheap, and extremely useful.

In addition, it also absorbs the effect of wizards lvl 4+ when it shoots within the area, it has the same exact effect of having a lighting spell hit it. Also, it attaches to any building with only little cost to you (20k gold)

But wait!! It does more, think about those Tesla's when they shoot at something in the range of this trap, it will spring, and have the same exact effect as normal...




So how does this brilliant-ish idea sound?

Make the build cost of the rod of lightning in dark elixir rather than gold.

The idea was that it would waste your hard earned gold that you got through farming as well

2 issues:

1) If you don't like getting your DE storages zapped, move up in trophies. It is less likely to happen.

2) Why would you want a defensive trap in your base absorbing Tesla zaps? That would hurt your defenses.

Did you not read??? It clearly reads a rearm cost MORE than a lot of people would get zapped for.

just to be fair,

i think that instead of absorbing the damage it should redirect it to your gold storage...damaging them and blasting out gold in addition to the de it drops

Are you sure moving up in trophies would help? How does that work? Wouldn't I start getting more DE in my raids so I would have more on hand and so I would be that much more zappable?

A trap that only counters a mere lightning spell is a no no..

It already cancels out jump spells we don't need two worthless less
