Get ur hounds to lvl 2 ASAP, they really help

Giants & Archers gets my vote. You can go very high in cup count and milk league bonus in less time than a loon based army comp.

Upgrade queen to 10.

When I hit th9 I upgraded barbs>loons>archers>Giants as far as farming troops go. Personally I think if you're purely focusing on farming it's better to do loons after Giants, but otherwise I think that's the best way. Lvl 6 barbs are a lot more tanky and help a lot when barching collectors or th8 storages. If you're more interested in doing giant comps then I would get Giants before archers simply because lvl 6 Giants spell doom for any th8 base, unless you mess up really badly. I've also found that lvl 6 Giants + heroes and a spell or two can crack lower th9 bases too.

I use almost exclusively gibarch to farm DE these days because it's much quicker to train than loonion and less boring :p
I've been running 12 Giants, 64 barbs, 80 arch and 8 wb, taking usually 2 heal 2 rage

I always liked GiBarch for G2-C3 when farming. It seems better for lower leagues whereas loonion would be better in high leagues (at the very least C2).
