The Most Efficient Way to Max TH8? Including Walls!

Ok so right now this is what I have left:

1.) Teslas - All are still LV1, not really sure why I just never upgraded any of them.
2.) Barracks - 3/4 of my barracks are lv8 and the other is lv10.
3.) Dark Barracks - 1 is lv2 and the other is maxed for my TH.
4.) D.E. Drills - Both are lv2, lv3 is max for TH8
5.) Bombs - All of them (6 out of 6) are lv4, need one more lv to max
6.) All of my elixir pumps and gold mines are low lv8. Would like lv11-12
7.) Walls - 29 skulls and the rest are lv7
8.) Quite a bit of lab work to be done too.

If you want to check my base and troops out my name is Chronoz and I am in the clan Travancore. 49/50 members

Obviously raiding is the only way to do it but what I'm looking for it upgrade priority with the things I have left to max. Right now I'm saving 6m elixir for lv3 Pekkas and the gold is being dumped into walls. 4/5 of my builders are taken to max my ATs and my elixir storage.

EDIT: Also, I boost my barracks daily (This is my only gem spending) and my king is Lv5 - Should this be upgrade more before I progress?

Get your teslas up ASAP. Barracks next if you war a lot, otherwise take to your walls and traps. Edit: Scratch that, drills before walls.

Ok thanks. Yea I've been told that I should have gotten my teslas up awhile ago. I sorta rushed from TH7 to 8 and never did them on 7 and didn't prioritize them on TH8 either so they just sorta sit there. When my builders free up I'll upgrade them, which should be within a few days

Hi, this is how I did it. Maxed my walls way before I was done upgrading my defenses.

I would farm til my storages are full then dump all of the gold on my walls when a builder becomes available then farm another 2 hours (boosted) until storage is full (again) dump all the extra gold unto walls then upgrade your next defense. Or if I'm able to fill up my resources before the 2 hour boost is over, I'll upgrade a wall and farm some more. I loot around 1250-ish trophy.

You should designate what a builder should do so you won't get confused as to what to upgrade next.
I.E. Builder 1 only upgrades Archer Towers and Cannons
Builder 2 only upgrades Teslas
Builder 3 only upgrades splash damage defenses (Wiz Ts and Mortars)
Builder 4 only upgrades Air Defenses
Builder 5 only upgrades Barracks (you should also max your barracks, the 75 queue limit is very much helpful in raids)

Get up your teslas fast as you can, becuase they are hidden and they are beast when they are level 6 (max level for th 8) Then drills while your doing teslas. The best strategey to get the loot for this is to do Barcher (Barbarian Archer) raid, they work good if you only attack people with pretty much full elixir collectors or/and gold mines. Hope it helps you be max. And get crackin' on those troops after the drills.;)

Do the defenses it what ever order you like but it's probably best to get splash damage up first but a great piece I've always given mid th players is to always leave one builder free to upgrade walls upgrades are pretty cheap th8 and lower but build times can be long so to keep loot from pilling up use it on walls by the time your defenses are maxed so should most of your walls

Wow, how good is the loot at that trophy range? Im at 1500-1800 and its ok but not great. I have 4mish elixir right now so i think ill throw it onto the drills to get them out of the way. Then ill have 6 days to save for 6m elixir for a pekka upgrade haha. Thanks for the advice!

Any idea what trophy range is best for barcher? I use it in the 1700 range and its ok but the person above seems to be getting way better results. Thanks for the advice and yea i have a lot of lab work to do too lol

All my defenses are maxed more my TH besides some teslas and bombs. Just have a lot of other buildings to max but everyone agrees that Teslas and drills should be first. Thank you!

4.) D.E. Drills - Both are lv2, lv3 is max for TH8. This shouldn't be your priority until a much later time(before you upgrade to TH9). Level 10 BK is usually the recommended level for TH8.

No you don't need the level 3 Pekka unless your dragons are level 1(which would be quite amusing if that's the case). If all you use is GoWiPe then maybe upgrading your pekka is worthy. Otherwise upgrade that drag or that one troop that is already upgraded a bit.

Wow thank you! Really answered everything I asked haha. My drags are lv3 since this is my war attack strategy right now but lv6 ADs seem to be an issue so my clan recommended GoWiPe for people running into this problem. Thats why I wanted the Lv3 Pekka but maybe I'll hold off on that for now. I actually have 5 builders which will be even better, this was i can work on all 3 teslas plus one other thing and still keep a builder open for walls. I'd really like to max my barracks (or at least lv9) but while they upgrade i basically cant raid much, it will take forever to train them but I guess it's worth it.

I was told D.E. drills should be done ASAP by other people on this forum but I guess it really isn't that important till a later time, I can use the elixir for lab purposes instead. THANK YOU! Your info helped a lot!

DE drill upgrade is a pretty subjective topic. Some people say DE drill is important, some say it's not really since you can make a lot of DE just by raiding specifically for it. I would personally suggest you just wait until the defenses and the barracks are done.

Just checked your account and the troops are decent. Level 1 pekka, idk...I'd say upgrade the pekka after you are done maxing those spells(especially that lightning and rage spell). Then move onto pekka if you really want to upgrade it. Also those golems should be upped to level 2 at some point if you like to use GoWiPe.

Try this: Level 2 pekka then level 2 Golem. Level 2 pekka is not that bad and same goes to golem. Practice with gowipe etc then upgrade pekka to level 3. Then you can work on other stuff such as hogs or minions.

Barch is your only Option I Think... Good heavens it is so good at 1300-1600 trophy range . Maybe you could still dip 100-200 trophies lower than 1300 n find more. Especially with abandoned bases and sum decent storage raids.
