Any ideas on why this AD didn't die?

So after attacking a base with level 5 AD's using 3 level 4 lightning spells to take take out one of the level 5 AD's, I then decided to go for another dragon attack using the same strategy with 3 level 4 lightning spells to take out one of the level 5 AD's. Upon placing all 3 I noticed the AD was still there, now mind you I did not miss the AD at all in fact they were placed almost in the same identical spot as the ones on the AD from the previous raid.

Both. You can see from the first pic they weren't in the center, increasing the odds that a bolt would miss.

Level 5 lightnings would've killed the AD (even if it was level 6 one).

This happens when you didn't squarely hit the airdef and only the splash damage of the lightnings hit it..

First Spell.

Your aim is way too far to the left. I put some red boxes around the air defense as a visual aid.

On the left side, the spell reaches the midpoint of the archer tower and wizard tower.
On the right side, the spell doesn't get past the wall segment to reach the archer tower. It encompasses only a small portion of the mortar.

On your next war, drop it a bit more to the right.

That's why I always zoom in first. Then tap light spells.

You dropped LS slightly off-center.

yeah vizzie its definately just a missed drop. try zooming in close when you drop them but be careful you dont accidently drop while zooming.see you in war bro:thumbsup::thumbsup:
