TH 10 war base | whoopa
Dear community,
I have been working quite a while on my TH 10 war base now. And i thought i have to turn from a ghost reader into an active member of the forum. So i'd like to share my base with you guys.
Well first of all, i'm really open for all critisisme and i'd like to hear your thoughts. However i'm aware that my base isn't maxed out yet so please ignore my defense levels and focus on the base layout.
Base Overview:

Well as you can see i just pointed out the most important defenses (in my opinion). In my eyes the AT,AD and Xbows are well spread arround the base and covering the most of it.
Furthermore an important point is that the CC Troops are unlurable without destroying any defenses first.
It is indeed an unconventional base layout so i'd like to show you how it works. Therefore i choose 3 of the most popular attacks to show you why i like this base that much.
Mass Dragon Raid :
The red arrows and lines stand for the dragons moving.

As you can see on the picture above the dragons are travelling around the whole base if they attack from the top. The explaination is quite simple, dragons go for the nearest building. With this base layout a path arround the TH is guaranteed, meaning there is no way for the dragons to get into the core.

We can see a similar picture if the attacker chooses to attack from the south. Apart from the high hitpoints structures the dragons are going off to the left and right and again they wont reach the core including the TH.
GoWiPe/GoWiWi
Wallbreakers : Purple
Golem : Red
Wizard/witch/royals : green

Not only the dragons are wandering arround the base even golems/giants will follow the path arround the TH as we can see in the picture above. For wizards/witches and the royals its the same as for the dragons they are going for the next structure independent what building it is. And not even a jump spell can change anything about it then there is no structure in the middle they want to go for.

The attack from the bottom is harder defend than the one from the top nevertheless it is hard to reach the TH. As i showed on the picture the troops are walking around the base. However sometimes it happens that the clean up troops get close to the middle. But dont worry there is still the CC troops waiting and 2 multi infernos which are going to burn them.
Lavaloon/Lavaloonion
Lavahounds : red
Loons : green

I got to admit that the Lavaloonion is the Nemesis of the Whoopa war base. Nevertheless it defends pretty well.
Obviously the hound are going after the AD and the following Loons go for the defenses. The problem with the loons is they dont wander arround the base, a part does but it happens a lot that couple loons get into the core. There are a load of Airbombs and 2 multi infernos waiting which should burn them. Despite that fact it might get close.

Some situation from the bottom, couple loons might get to the core and destroy it which would mean game over for the base. Nevertheless it defends pretty well.
Thanks a lot if you have read through the whole thread and i'd be honored if someone would give my base a go.

LaLoon wouldn't/shouldn't come either of those ways
It would most likely come like this
1 golem
3-5 wizards
Royals
To that cannon in south west near AD
This would Agro the queen onto the golem and King onto queen while queen takes out AD wiz tower (possibly both) cannons and AT. Then it would come from right side with a few loons to 1v1 southern units plus the southern units would then path to infernos in core freeze over infernos

GoWiWi/Pe SW then Jump to core. Goodnight.

Yeah it's ok but no base will defend against every single high lvl attack, it just isn't possible!

First I wasn't liking it but when you explain the effectiveness of your base against each attack....
I like it. I'm not a th 10 yet, but if I was i would use it.
