Make Prep day 23.5 hous instead of 24.

Ive seen some suggestions to make prep day 12 hours, or even less, and I agree those ideas have problems. Why not make it 23.5 hours. The advantage of this is clans who war everyday can still start war at the same time everyday, instead of a slow drift away from that clans ideal starting time.

If war one starts at 7pm, they can start a new war but a match may not be found until 7:20, etc. Then eventually they might take a day off to get back to the 7pm starting time. If prep days was 23.5 hours, it would be easier for each clan to keep to the schedule they like.

Thats actually not a half bad idea... Another idea which I just thought of is start the Prep day from the moment "Search" is pressed, as oppose to the moment the match is made? Searches are known to take over half an hour

I agree with the principle of this, but not the time frame. I have searches take longer than 30 minutes (so we would still have some schedule creep). And some take less (which will also hurt our schedules). Because it can vary so widely I can't think of a time I could suggest that would be right.

What I really liked was the constant war mode Warren James put forth. It addresses the same issue but in a different way.

There are some tweaks needed for this. But it would be perfect for how my clan wishes to operate. It also as noted would improve matchups.

The issue with that is both clans don't hit 'search' at the same time.

I could imagine one clan hit search, and waits 30 minutes. Another clan might hit search and the system instantly reconogizes they are a perfect match and the match starts within 5 minutes of them hitting the search button.

When does prep day and war start, when clan A hit search or when clan B hits start?

The clan that has been searching the least (clan B, I believe in this case). So 24 hours after they had hit 'search'

I think that idea is better. It would improve match ups as well.

I think my idea is easier for supercell to implement, if they did not want to change around matchmaking too much, but that idea is better to implement, and as such it has my support.
