New idea for tesla s having duel purpose

I was thinking about how people love to lightning dark elixir and wondered if there was a way to stop this. Well, I got to thinking and I recalled reading how teslas have thunder clouds stuck into them. So I said to myself why not have the teslas be able to absorb a percentage of damage according to area its in. For example, it can be used to protect your dark elixir and help dull the damage or say if someone tries to completely blow up an air defense with lightning it can add a bit of strategy based on base layout. since it'll help dull the lightning full force it will force people to really think about how to use the lightning spell since at th7 of one has their air defense taken out by lightning it guarantees a 3 star victory with mass drags so this idea will help th7 actually fight back vs mass drags. Please, tell me what you all think.

Also, they should not stop the lightning on DE. Its important for the health of the game that guys be able to do this.

If you prefer to be raided instead of zapped then move up to a higher level and that's what will happen.

That's why I said a percentage and not completely nullify an attack. I'm th9 being raided is nothing as long as the defense is strong. Being able to lightning for free resources is not "healthy".it's an inability to defend a resource but what is healthy are new ideas although I guess this idea isn't new .

Seriously - the amount they steal with lightning is not a ton. 3 lightning strikes take about 1k. Yeah it sucks but raid it back. This generally only happens about once a week. Its not a serious problem. just an annoyance of how people play the game.

And frankly - I laugh when ppl do it. Spend 100k in lightning to gain 1k in DE. They would be better raiding for it. Its a desperate move by players that cant attack well anyway.

It's not free. They have to wait half an hour per spell and spend about 20k in elixir for what, a couple hundred DE? Really, it's about the most inefficient way to get it, considering I can make an army for slightly more than the cost of a few lightning spells, and come away with twice as much DE, plus gold and at least enough elixir to cover the cost of the raid. And I've had my TH out pretty much constantly in crystal all through TH8 and 9, and I get sniped 80-90% of the time, and have gotten zapped maybe 10 times total ever, so if you're having a problem with that, it's because you're sitting in lower leagues because you're either trying to protect your resources by hiding from stronger players, or want to beat up on lower levels, or both. Either way it's mostly a problem of your own making.


Now the lightning on an air d at TH7 is a bigger problem, but you're also more or less guaranteed 3 stars if you use mass dragons with all rage, so I think there are a number of better suggestions that would help make TH7 mass drag attacks require a bit more skill, like giving TH7 a second seeking air mine and possibly archer towers 9, or a slight nerf to dragons, at least at level 1.
