Disable troop donation incentives for new members

It's pretty annoying when the clan is open for recruitment and people keep popping in just to dump giants and build up their friend in need achivement and profile xp.

Invite only is an option to avoid this, but it doesn't work great either (missing players that have already moved on and joined another clan, or those who simply don't even bother with invite only clans)

If new members didn't get the xp, it would cut down on the hoppers and I think it would make those tracked donations more meaningful as the troops went to clans they were loyal to.

That isn't really fair to people that play the game normally though.

Explain how it's not fair?

Hoppers and dumpers make the game frustrating and fill clan chat logs. Missing one day of donations is minor in the big picture for most players

It is an interesting thought, though there are also occasional high level players that bounce around donating troops you actually want.

THe other option is to do a better job screening new members before letting them in.

There's no screening when the clan is open. And they usually leave before we can kick them.

I guess another option would be to kick someone who's already left, but I think they already said no to kicking players from the chat log.

This change would also eliminate some botters.

If this isn't the solution I still think a change to prevent the issue is needed.

Set clan to invite only then. If you set the clan to open you need to realize that you'll have to deal with some of that.

We do a mix of both, but invite only has it's own limitations that makes goin fully open better at times.

This guy for example, camps full of barbs, doesn't do any attacks. But is a super high level because of the friend in need achievement and is probably a bot. He's joined and left out clan repeatedly just looking to dump troops.
