Give me your answer and why is it?
Here is my town hall condition at the moment :
- All Defenses Buildings : MAX
- Wall : Level 8 (165), Level 7 (60)
- Barbarian King : MAX
- All Traps : MAX
- Troops : WB(Level 4),Balloon(Level 4),Minion(Level3) and The rest is already done

I had non-max TH8 defenses when I got to TH9. In fact I still have lv5 ADs... Only I had max BK and all lv8 walls. Did pretty fine.
I suggest you get your loons to lv5 ASAP because you want them to be lv6 soon when you hit TH9, they are a huge boost!

60*500,000 - that is 30,000,000 gold.
TH9 upgrade time is 10 days.
If you can farm around 3 million gold per day you can farm those walls in 10 days while upgrading your TH..
I agree, you should upgrade because it takes 10 days and by that time you can finish your walls
Man, you still have 3 of the most important troops to upgrade! WB for GOWI__ comps, loons for war/lazy farming, and minions for farming! I would say yes you are ready, but you will want those troops maxed for TH9 as they are all very useful.
My best advice to a TH8 debating on going to TH9 is do ever elixir upgrade you can at TH8 then make the jump. Some like to max everything including walls but from my experiences this is just a waste of time and elixir. I would work on your last elixir upgrades/troops then go to TH9.
