Thank you for noticing my first post.
Actually, I edited using your posting format, since I find it more comfortable to read :) Thanks for providing me the example about starting new thread.
I'm sure this new dark troop will make a fine addition to Clash of Clans. I think it's rather easy for supercell to tweak this troop since they only need to use pekka's base model and stats, make it flying, ranged, and using inferno tower damage mechanism. I did my best to make it balanced but still practical and tough enough as high tier dark troop, also unique with his ultra high damage output and (blocking heal for troops, although it's rather useless).
PS: Shall I start a poll for this thread?
-No, that would be pretty imbalance (at least from my calculation). I wouldn't recommend it though, but Supercell might doing some experiment with it and see it's tactical value (Infernal Avengers may be resistant to IT, but they're still vulnerable to AD) and probably being pretty imbalance support for ground assault by taking out IT at first. Beside, his out of chart damage would obliterate any defenses in a few secs while being able to stay alive much longer than balloons, making it virtually unstoppable (just imagine dragon targeting defenses with balloon damage).
-It blocks healing effects just like inferno towers; but only if he acts as cc defense troops, OR dealing with enemy cc defense that has healer. Although, like I said before, it's a bit useless (just to pay homage to IT itself). Skeleton traps will really distracts him and wastes his huge damage on mere 45 HP skeletons
I might as well recommend it to be targeting multiple units, but I'm afraid it will become another spider demon cc defense troops for th9s :3
Decent idea, although I think it would work better as a ground troop. And the names kinda weird. 'Infernal Avenger' doesnt roll off the tongue that well:p
Nice idea, but I think it should have less HP...
We have already a PEKKA with high HP and high damage as latest elixir ground troop, so why we don't have another dark, flying, high hp and high damage as well? Just like PEKKA weak to tesla, Infernal Avenger weak to Seeker Air Mine which should be dealing 1.5 times 2 times extra damage (A lv2 SAM should kill lv1 Infernal Avenger in one hit). Should it has less HP, he won't be able to tank for single target inferno towers for long (unless its resistance toward IT is 90%) and become extremely weak to AD while he's already pretty vulnerable to SAM. My idea is to add a PEKKA equivalent dark, flying troop.
Too many ground troops already... The name? If you guys come up with better name idea I would love to apply it. Just make sure his name equal his appearance as menacing looking flying winged demon wielding inferno staff :3 These names are already in my mind: Demon, ArchDemon, Demon Lord, Hell Knight. (avoiding names that would indicate it to be fragile like "mage", "birdy names", etc unless they are tweaking it to be low hp ultra high damage flying troop)
I've considered models for flying troop that should be tough enough as his appearance; Dragons are mythical creature and they are known to be tough, Balloon has high firepower but one tiny pointed thing would pop it and take it down, Minions are small, fragile, with decent damage, Lava Hounds well... bulky just like flying golem with near zero damage.
