There is a place where mortar then spring trap and then a cannon is there. If someone attacks from that place then the giants will first go to cannon then mortar. All giants won't go up by the spring trap so after that wizards from bottom and the particular side can take your 3 storage and DE storage. Otherwise a very nice base.
Lol don't listen to this kid. Your base is fine, in fact one of the best trophy th8s I've seen in a while. Don't change a thing ur de is protected the best it can be
Switch the top ADs with the mortars. Better air coverage.
Thank you all for your comments.
I guess my question would be would you try it?
Anything other than a farming base makes no sense at th8 and below. Above 2k trophies as a th8 you will just get smashed for 30 trophies every defense if you keep your townhall inside. Your design is alright, but pretty much useless in terms of purpose. Throw your th on the outside and get the free shield...
Love it! It's a very good hybrid design and will work at both protecting trophies and loot. Although I reccomend farming as you progress faster, you can trophy push for the fun! If you do go to crystal or above you need to make a proper trophy design though, so you stand a chance of defending th9 attackers...
The real question is - why would you want a hybrid base? Get that town hall on the outside and protect that loot!
Trophy pushing can wait until you are a TH10 and bored with the game. The patience, time, and resources necessary to get to Masters as a TH8 is easily replaced with just $10 (to get the gems you would get by chasing Masters).
as far as hybrids go it looks very solid, I used a hybrid my whole first th8, and they are right you will get smashed more often than not, but if you're set on using a hybrid you've got a good one.
Overall this base is vey good except fkr the fact that the top two Air Defenses are not protected very well. If you switch it with the mortars, then the mortars will be vulnerable. You always want to have the splash damage and air defenses near the middle of the base, but spread out enough so their attack range covers a lot of space, and that is what I see is wrong with this. I cannot see a way to change the layout minorly without exposing a storage or a space defense, so my suggestion would be to find another base and post it on here again. I will tell you what I think of it if you decide to look for a new base. Thanks for readingthis, I hope it helps!
