X-Bows to air only

I think it's a good entirely reasonable idea.

but I want my Xbow to have a laser sight :p

I like the idea. Show to ground only for max range, or air only for max range, or both for shorter range. Makes sense to me. How about you give some reasons for why you think its a bad idea instead of just being an ♥♥♥.

Totally agree. It would make up for the lower DPS compared to other single target defenses and the increased cost and the elixir reload cost

I believe the idea wants a third option.

Existing - Ground only, 14 tiles
Existing - Air & Ground, 11 tiles
NEW - Air only, 14 tiles

It's been suggested at least once before. It got mixed reviews before, and it sounds like it's getting mixed reviews now, but maybe it's too early to tell.

I personally am in favor of it. If someone wants to take this extra measure to try to slow down a lavaloonion attack (which is the most consistent 3* strategy at TH9 and up right now, even though it takes considerable skill), I say let them. If nothing else, it would open up their base to a ground attack. It'd be nice to see people complaining about something other than lavaloonion at TH9 for a change.

I think he was referring to the statement that, "Air attacks are definitely the way to go". Air attacks are NOT the best options when taking out high level TH 9 or TH 10. If you are going for 1 star maybe, but not 2 or 3. Needs to be a poorly set up base to have air work.

The irony here is if air attacks are the way to go and you start setting xbows to air only, it will make ground attacking a lot easier.

I'm not against it, as it would add an element to the game, though I might set air only to say 12 or 13 tiles instead of 14.
