Actually trustworthy Co-leaders

I hate this rule, as I would love to use GIFs here, but animated GIFs are not allowed on the forum. Why? I don't know, but just an FYI.

To the OP, this is not worth the programming time for the developers. It's a terrible idea that can be solved with your own abilities. If you are not capable of such, then you have no business running a clan. Supercell is not here to babysit you or to hold your hand throughout your gaming experience....

One simple solution.. Don't give out free co or free elder...I see this a lot in global.. We make the Co's earn the title. .to be a co in our clan you have to been in a minimum 10 wars...plus they have to help out with guiding new members...

I don't understand why this idea is under fire so much. It's just another feature I feel would enrich the game experience. Although rouge Co-leaders may not be a thing in your clan or my clan, they exist. This feature would have no negative impacts on gameplay. As for server size and programming, I think SC can handle it. They made clan wars, so I think if they wanted to they could handle putting a button in. No offense, SC.

Yes it would. It both limits how my co-leaders can contribute to the guild and limits their value to the rest of the clan. Effective leaders empower their co-leaders, not limit them. Build trust, make your expectations clear, praise them when they use their power appropriately and correct them when they do not (proportional to the infraction).

The poor leadership structure in your clan is no reason to put rules in place that ruin the rest of ours.

This is a horrible idea. My co leaders are my backup. They cover things when I can't be there and need to be able to do that. They are guys that showed they understood the job and so were the ones I selected when I had a need for guys that could cover in my absence.

They are not guys that were given a promotion because they were buddies or donated or went a week without ditching the clan or whatever. Guys promoted for reason like that don't have any purpose to being co and so they see the job and the power as just a toy to play with, and that's why you have trouble with them.

Demote everyone to elder. Then re-promote only a couple of guys that you know would do the job in your stead. Don't have your management team consist of more then 10% of the clan. (S a 50 person clan would have you and 4 co-leads Even if you have more than just those guys that could do the job if asked just hold on them. Keep them in mind for later.

And if anyone objects, if the EVER tell you they need to be made co to feel like they should stay then kick them immediately as you just leaned that they are not dependable. (Anyone that needs to being given something to stay is not dependable because you will run out of things you can give them and that's when they will take off)

As far as that 'because I need to feel trusted' argument Why? A person that needs to be assured by others that they are trustworthy must not believe it inside their own self. And a person that cannot be trusted should not even be member.

The very first reply was all that was needed to justify why this suggestion should not be implemented in-game.
