Sounds like you're a tad rushed. Upgrade the walls to level 7 at least before defenses, preferably 8 or 9. The grind sucks but protecting your defenses is as important as having good defenses.Quote:

As a rusher, I try to keep my walls ahead of my defenses. That is, I want all level X walls before I work on THX defenses. I know that I'm going to be upgrading my TH before I finish out all defenses and that provides me a way to balance things.
You are going to want to balance things, my balance is to keep walls and defenses at about the same level. I don't know what level your defenses are at currently. If they're ahead of your walls, level walls. If they're behind your walls, level defenses. Or maybe you prefer a different balance. For instance, I have a no defense alt that has walls and I know of people who do wall-less alts. Figure out what your balance is, and then upgrade to that.
Leave a builder for walls only if you play a lot :)

I'd get them to sky before you start on defences
If you farm more than enough to keep all your builders busy, then spend whatever you need to keep all of them busy and dump the rest into walls.
If you're like me and will always be too lazy to get all the builders busy, forget walls, defences are way more important. What to do with the underleveled walls? Make a maze with them, funnel troops all over the place in your base. Yes, it does work, and I do it because I know I never want to grind walls.
(Th 9, pink walls, doesn't matter still can defend :D )
