LOL, I don't know that it would make everyone happy! I personally would find it considerably more fair than the current situation though.

I completely agree. If the lvl 9+ walls get to use elixir i think the lvl8 ones should too. Lvl7 walls should stay just gold though, I and many others I know were able to do that without a problem. I just think that lvl8 walls should be mmoved up in the category with those above it where people can use elixir to get it. I have been stuck on these walls for sooo long. And I have heard people say that it could ruin the game, but I dont see how. Can someone explain that to me?

Nice way to twist my words.
I would find it considerably more fair for TH9's to have to farm 250M gold to get an extra 1000 hit points per wall for 250 walls (a cost of 1000 gold per hit point), when a TH8 has to farm 112.5M gold to get an extra 500 hit points per wall for 225 walls (also a cost of 1000 gold per hit point). (Heck, even with gold only, TH9's are getting the better end of that deal. That's the ONLY time where the increase in price per hit point of wall doesn't go up.)
As it is now, that TH9 could farm 250M gold and dump all of it into defenses, and spend the 150M-250M elixir he farmed alongside it into his level 9 walls. The TH9 gets MORE benefit from spending LESS gold per wall hit point. That's the only time it happens in the game, and no, I don't think that's fair.
Level 10 walls are not the issue, so bringing them up is a red herring. And anyway, I support the ability to spend elixir on level 10 walls, so still a red herring.
Lix-4-Walls at TH8 almost killed the game and would certainly be a death sentence if it was implemented now. The single worst idea SC ever put into the game. The rollback helped but lvl9 walls is still too low. There needs to be a minimum elixir storage cap of roughly 3million before you can spend on a wall or just make it a TH10 only feature.
I'm not twisting any words. We're talking about the elixir vs gold costs, not hit points.
It's absolutely fair. TH9s that are working on level 9 walls have already put in the work to farm those level 8's, just like TH8s will eventually be able to take advantage of using elixir on level 9 walls once they've upgraded their town hall and finished the level 8's. Comparing the two is like a TH9 saying that since inferno towers are more powerful than x-bows, it's not fair that a rushed TH10 gets inferno towers. You have to upgrade each stage before reaping the benefits of a later stage.
What's not fair is giving lower town halls a greater advantage.
With gold only for level 9 walls it's still 382,978,000 more gold than elixir, which is more than twice the difference for TH8.
It didn't kill the game for you. It killed the game for higher town halls by draining too much elixir out of the economy.
In fact, it didn't just affect elixir. Many players that had previously ignored walls (including TH9s and TH10s that still had lower level walls) starting dumping both elixir AND gold into walls after the elixir for walls feature was introduced.

Its not going to happen. Coc is just like the stock market. If you have one thing out of balance; you can risk the entire economy going down.
Say you lower the walls. 400k; you're still going to farm twice to even get that amount. Doesn't really bother me as in doing them just fine.
Grinding out on a game is normal and shows the game is tough in certain aspects. Makes the journey worth it. If it was easy everyone would have level 8 walls.
Id love to see you post about level 11 walls being as that the level 8's are just so dang expensive for you. Try 3 mil a pop.
