Upgrading hero to be part of clan war

This is just another way of saying to SC, "We want free Gems!"

I believe gemming "heroes upgrade time" is the only way they can earn from stingy players.
If there's something worth to use gems, this is one of it ~ especially for those who wants a bang for their bucks.

If heroes idle time is troublesome for you in wars, here are some tips for you;

1. Use troops composition that doesn't depend on heroes (i.e. Air Troops)
2. Coordinate with your leader to attack a weaker base due to heroes upgrade.
3. Do not upgrade both heroes at the same time
4. Be more tactical, think more! Be more efficient with your troops composition & spell useage


Don't let SC do everything for you, do something for yourself! There are plenty of ways to get around this issue like what I mentioned above.

We all know this upgrading hero situation provides a massive problem to the balance of wars. However, we are all going about this the wrong way.

Supercell is entitled to try and make money from this game. And gems upgrading heroes is a big money maker for them. I know they claim the coding fix is quite complex, I'm a programmer and I'm not buying it. Difficult? Maybe. Months of coding? Not a chance.

The bottom line is Supercell will have no motivation to fix this problem until one of two things happen.

1. People stop spending their gems on hero upgrades.
2. People stop playing the game.

If you are truly bothered by Supercells lack of attention to this problem I encourage you to do both. Opt out of wars, upgrade your hero, and find another game to play for a short while (there are tons available people). If enough people do this then Supercell will 'finally manage to finish the coding'

Still think they will add it,
They want money but they aren't money ♥♥♥♥♥s and people will want to upgrade heroes and boost barracks more! Pray for this update

yeah for higher levels it takes them out for days, but if it were me i just wouldnt over tax myself in war, aim a bit lower to compensate

Just like all other DEFENSIVE buildings, your heroes are also available for DEFENSIVE purposes.

Nothing offensive is usable in war, heroes or otherwise.

Supercell's 2014 revenue was $1,600,000,000 in 2014. No, I didn't add extra zeros. That's 1.6 billion dollars. Good luck trying to pull off a Gem "hunger strike" over Heroes. Those that are complaining about Heroes in War are probably not big spenders anyway. The big spenders... well.... they spend it and go to war with all their heroes.
