Nothing much to comment on your base. Actually the design quite good looking but if u r able to put more traps around the de storage would b better since ur main is to protect it. And don't rush your blue crystal walls to black skull. If possible use those gold to upgrade your defenses. Leave your walls at blue until u r done. 500k each though :/

I have to say that with a decent "digging" attack, most TH8 bases will go down. However, things that can certainly help that is to put Giant bombs, teslas, and wizard towers rather close to the DE in the core/ in the path to the DE. The more overlap near the core, the better; However, I realize that it was fairly difficult to do that in a TH8 base. Otherwise i think the general design is actually pretty dang good.

If you become unsatisfied later on with it, may I suggest putting teslas and a Giant Bomb near the core by the DE?

Looks pretty solid, not much to say on that, obviously hold up against GiBarch well. As a th9 myself who will hit just about any th8 with good loot I'm not sure that would do too well, I can 2-3 star most town hall 8's with Gibarch and a heal spell or two (heroes make it even better). Still, as th8 DE farming bases go that look solid.
