I may have posted this in the wrong place, so I am posting here as this seems to be more appropriate.
I wish that there was a better way to end wars. No one wants a tie, as neither side gets rewarded for doing better than the other team. It's like going to a sporting event and leaving the game as a tie and nobody wins. There needs to be a clear winner.
Here is what I propose and I hope SuperCell considers implementing something like this very soon:
Wars that end in a tie are decided in this order for the winning team...(Example will be a 10v10)
1) The team that has the most overall percentage wins. Team A would take their best attack vs. #1 against team B and add that percentage to their best attack vs. team ♥♥ #2...down to #10). Team B would do the same. The clan with the highest overall % destroyed for the war map wins!
2) If the first option results in a tie (not probable, but will happen at some point), you then look at the top bases on the map. First look at the stars since that is what warring is all about. If one top base was 2 starred and the other top base was 1 starred, the team that earned the 2 stars wins. But, if both were 2 starred, then again, look at the percentage destroyed. If team A's attack against team ♥♥ top player was 76% and team ♥♥ attack against team As top player was 75%, then team A would win.
3) This process would continue down until there is a discrepancy in the matching bases (1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, 3 vs 3, etc.)
This would be a really fair solution to picking the clan to win in a tie for stars.
