This is a total bargain.
For example, I named myself The Great Emperor because I am new to Clash of Clans. I have no idea of the other clashers' names. After playing some time, I will soon realize that my name's totally absurd or even funny or foolish.
So please allow us to change or alter our names, I am willing to pay gems, or dark elixir!
Our village names is our identification of the game. It is most important.
EDIT: I will never give up!
rule of thumb:
When starting ANY new game, assume that the original username is permanent.
and
Always be serious when deciding your username.

I did this and I'm completely satisfied with my IGN now. (at the time, I had no idea that I was creating an account with the MOST ADDICTING game EVER produced.)

Im sorry but this topic has been discussed too much already and reasons are already given as to why it cant and shouldnt be done. So i suggest you search the other threads and read through them. However, there are still two reasons where supercell can help you out in changing your IGN, and as far as im aware, i think its free, as long as your reason is either of the two.
1. Your IGN is in any way offensive or rude, etc
2. It contains details concerning your privacy.
