Having the option to ban a player in your clan?

Recently with my clan, we had an issue with a player who had 2 accounts and we kicked his second account out of the clan but with his main account he invited the account back. Apparently he was a player we knew, but couldn't figure out who it was, so we deomoted everyone to member because of this issue. My only cange i would make to that is having a Leader or Co being able to ban a player from coming back. It wasnt fair for the people in the clan that had nothing to do with this be demoted for a player acting up. It actually made some people leave because of this situation. Please put in the future updates of banning players from clan.

and if you accidentally ban someone or if that guy decides to ban everyone else? then what? people that sneak their way to co leader will start banning people.

Sounds like your current solution is what works. Doubt SC will make this a priority.

This would mean there should be a ban list created in-order for unban to happen for mistakes. AND;

If another level is created above elder so that not everyone can get co-leader (Limit it to let say 3) then again, not much of a chance of mass and troll bans.

And at the same time other let the co-leaders (limited) or only the LEADER to be able to take BANNING actions.

it might be a good idea. but the programming behind it calls for additions server memory to store the table and additional man hours to program. again, simply controlling who you promote seems to be the workaround.

On a slightly different note but likely facing the same problems as above Just a though to help out with keeping global chat family friendly. If you had a button to promote someone to moderator on global chat and they would have the ability for a limited while to kick people from a chat.

Could work like this.


4 or 5 individual promotes gives Temp/restricted Moderator status 2 reports immediately nullify this


Status includes: able to kick up to 3 people from a chat who have been previously been reported.


Max of one Moderator on any given global chat forum.


I understand this could be difficult and would come with problems of its own but It's just a thought..

While a friends/contact list is ruled out for privacy and bullying concerns I am in favor of a clan level blacklist that does nothing more than block join requests. I know I have two ill mannered children who periodically try to join the clan again simply to put offensive messages in our chat log. While reporting them is fun I would rather not have to bother with it.

I do like all of your posts and respect what each of you respond back with. I just want something that keeps a player from coming back with no invites to make a player come back. Its all about who you promote and if you promote someone to Co your taking your own chances with risk of clan. But Leader should be the only one to ban a player if this were to be changed. Cos would just be allowed to kick. And if Leader bans then your clan teammates won't be allowed to invite back. I'd say the ban from the clan should be at least 5 days or so. Just an idea that I'd like COC to fix if they can fix it.
