Mass Witch Attack - Quest To 3 Star A TH10

Hey Guys, Inspired by another video I saw recently, I've embarked on a quest to 3 star a decent TH10 using mass witches. Obviously it's a pretty difficult task to succeed at but I'm getting closer and closer and my latest attempt in a Clan War is worth showing you guys. It is unfortunately a 2 star, but it gets very close and if I'd done a couple of things slightly differently it may well have been a 3 star. Mass witches looks pretty cool so hopefully you will enjoy the video!

I could have taken a third jump to get my witches over the other side of the centre, but I think I needed the second freeze spell for the multi inferno, but let me know what you think and any suggestions for what to do to get that third star will be appreciated. I will of course post as soon as I manage a three star mass witch attack!

Curious if you are consistently getting 2 stars from this without much trouble? If not, what ends up shutting down the attack? I assume mortars get the witches or you end up against 2 multi infernos.

Mortars/wiz towers tend to get the witches and be the biggest problem but on this style of base, yes I am consistently getting 2 stars with this tactic. I think maybe I need to stagger the timing a bit before heroes go in to try and get them shielded a bit so they can do more damage.

Other than that a third jump may have got me three here. I wouldn't go up against two multi infernos with this attack I don't think - too risky, best against single infernos.

Enemy #1 and #2 had nearly identical layouts to this in our last war. I was sitting out due to hero upgrades, but as a brand new TH10 I am still working on 2-star consistency... gotta get my freeze up and mass witch some people!

That's pretty cool! Have you tried mixing in some valks? Might help clear faster and rabk some of those infernos and wizzies.

i just got matched in a war vs 2 bases with this setup except both infernos are on multi. worth trying out you think? i was thinking maybe i can try this or do that 5 golem strat

I think you're better off with the 5 golem strat - the problem with multi infernos is that they will take down those minions in seconds and before you know it your witches are being eaten up as well. It's just not worth the risk as you may end up with zero stars.

@3lorian - that's a nice idea I might give that a try in our current war if I get a chance, it'll also help clear the enemy cc quickly too. Cheers.

@AJFlood - If you find a base with two single infernos then freeze isn't so important as you won't really need it (maybe one) but if it has one multi and one single you'll definitely need at least one freeze, possible two, so yeh get that freeze levelled.

If any of you do a mass witch, let me know how you get on as it's still a work in progress to get the 3 star!!

I wonder if two well placed freezes would allow for two multi infernos - would be interesting to see at least!
