Ideas for new Traps
Hey, to make new traps not boring, they should be much different from other traps.
So here are my suggestions:
First:
Freeze Trap: freezes units for x seconds or slow down move/attack speed for x seconds (so it is technicaly the opposite of rage spell)
vulcano trap or lava pit: If activated is spreads lava arround it and hits up to 5 targets. The damage is first low, but than increasing
first 5 seconds: 10 damage each second
5-10 seconds: 50 Damage each second
10-15 seconds: 100 damage each second
freeze spell would delete the burning
That trap would hurt strong units more than if it hits 5 barbarians
Third: Dummy trap:
A Giant Barbarian King is created and spotting the enemy, so everyone in 5 tiles range is focusing on him. he is not doing any damage, he is just dancing and has high hp
Counter: Freeze will scatter him, Lightning too
Those are unique traps i can think about

Only trap I really don't like would be the dummy trap, other than that I think they are pretty good ideas! maybe the lava would be like a high level town hall thing since freeze spells are for level five potion factories.

An idea for a new trap.
What about the "Slap Trap", a Jack-in-the-box style hand springs out to slap a single spell away?
Any spell deployed in the small area gets slapped aside by 5 tiles in a random direction. Good defensive planning could prevent that rage spell being dropped just right, or that heal spell you wanted just there to heal those hogs doesn't actually cover them as much as you'd hoped. It would have to have a small activation area, though.
