Forum Idea: Relevant Posts

Hello Forumers

Reading through general, Ideas and Features and other topics I can't help but notice people almost spamming a thread by repeating things people have already covered, to increase their post count. I've been part of the forums for a little while and my post count is low. I almost never post on threads where an answer has already been given.

I think adding a new little stat box under a persons avatar titled "Relevant Posts" or "Useful Posts" would show how that person is contributing to the thread! A person with 1000 posts but 3 relevant/useful posts would obviously be a spammer or posting for the sake of posting.

Problems that could come could be the first month or so of this being added, everyone would have a bad ration (1200 posts and 1 relevant post). I don't have a solution to this but feel free to post ideas.
Now as for discussion threads, relevant post count would show who contributes to discussion and people who quote another person and put arrows and 'this' there just for posts.
People reading the post would click a little green tick in the corner to indicate they found the post helpful or relevant.
Examples:

OP: My idea xxx
Person 1: sorry ruled out
Person 2: Ruled out
Person 3: Yep, ruled out
Person 4: InB4Close


OP: What's your thoughts?
Person 1: Blah blah blah
Person 2: 'Quoting P1' ^^ This 10chars

If you need to add 10chars to your post, chances are that your post isn't needed...

Not quite sure this is in the right place.

and I find your idea confusing. (Not quite sure why I do; but I do.) It makes it so users post count are sorted by relevent post? Well you can't exactly code this or even tell who's making relevent post.

And I think quote notifications would be a much better feature to be added than anything.
