Could I please get help understanding what happened during this attack?

Near the end of the attack, my AQ is in the center compartment with the TH. However, instead of attacking something in the compartment, she starts shooting a wall with nothing on the other side except the opposing BK.

Once she shoots a hole in the wall, she does NOT go through to attack the BK, instead she finally starts attacking things in the compartment with the TH, but by then it is too late.

Can someone please explain what happened? I would like to avoid it happening again if I can.

Troops with "attack anything" AI will "aggro" on enemy troops that are attacking your own troops. There is a certain range on this, maybe about 6? spaces.

In this case, the BK attacking your units caused your AQ to target the BK over nearby buildings. AI calculates that the wall needs to be broken so AQ can reach BK, so she shoots wall. Watch carefully - JUST as wall is broken, BK kills the last enemy in HIS aggro range. the "!!" over his head changes back to "?" and he wanders back to his altar. Since he is no longer attacking any of your troops anymore, your AQ goes back to prioritizing the nearest building.
