Woooo we should get some good news soon
Certainly possible, we are getting close to 2 months since the last update after all.
Well Patrick is dropping a SC CoC interview video tomorrow (including where he asks about TH11), good timing along with Godson's visit to SC or coincidence ?
Wow what a awesome News is this that Tomorrow is the Day, when we should Hear something about the Update. So i am very Exited about that Announcement, which is Regarding the Update.
Yup im hoping for a big splash like clan wars the game has been a bit boring lately time for some refreshing
Good observation. Yes, I work in the Marketing industry.
I may not get million dollar budgets for my marketing campaigns, but it'll always be good to know how things work and how much they costs.
Besides, it's interesting to know!
Basic research isn't hard and I'd like to have true information. Claiming the advertisement costs is $4m when it more than likely reached upwards of $19m is not just a short oversight.
Also, you have to remember that Boom Beach got a big marketing budget last year. I can only testify for myself and my viewership of American Football (NFL) and only ONE team (How Bout Them Boys?!) and I saw at least ONE boom beach commercial during every game last season. The average Sunday game costs upwards of $175k for 30 seconds. Sunday night pushed over $250k for 30 seconds. Monday night football? Almost over $400k. I definitely saw some boom beach commercials during playoffs, which goes well over $550k per 30 second slot.
Now, how many games did they advertise in? I'm sure they weren't targeting Dallas Cowboy fans! 15 games a week, plus play offs?
I doubt they only focused on NFL.... MLB? NBA?
You can chew through a multi million dollar advertising budget pretty quickly.
And many of you have to realize, a lot of their profits (post taxes) are paid to investors. So even a number like $2.5 million a day (Which I believe EBIT) and payment towards their investors. I'm sure the executives are highly paid at Supercell but I doubt they're Scrooge McDuck rich. You also have to consider the longevity of Mobile Games. I doubt Clash of Clans will be a long lasting cash cow as say, owning Apple or Microsoft....
I don't see the "We  sneak peeks" sneak peak about the sneak peeks yet :)
