Does TH9.75 make any sense? Or even exist?

In all fairness, I never really understood the point of all these 9.5 bases.

Yes, it makes sense to want an offense first, so that you can actually hit other 10's and your rank on the war ladder may be of some concern if you are not ready or lack the offense.

....But by neglecting infernos you are basically saying "3 me" to other 10's, and I can't really say I'd recommend any 10 (new or otherwise) not to build them asap.

Lab, CC, Camps, SF, of course are musts first.... but I'd highly rate Infernos as a top priority as well as they are a crucial TH10 defense for war even though they do weigh heavily in terms of defense matching.

Anyway, your best defenses for war are Infernos>Teslas>ADs>Xbows (lvl 3 at least) pretty much in that order. Rest can wait until your offense is near maxed if you are concerned about balancing issues.

I don't think you did anything wrong either by looking at your base. Seems to be coming along fine.

I hear what your are saying and never really considered that. I'm looking for a better attack match-up on my end. The side effect of this is that it gives the enemy a TH10 without infernos to 2-3 star (usually the latter). So I'm getting a better match-up at the expense of giving the enemy clan a better chance at my base. Thx for pointing this out.

it depends on what is the mean of your team..
th9.5 or 9.75 really helps. In our clan there are 3 th9.5 (new th10 that prioritizing camps and there is still no inferno.).
we are able to match up weaker opponents most of the time. most of our match up only have 1-2 th10 with infernos, however if you are rank 8-10 in your team.. having no infernos may hurt your team more. since top 5 th10 can 3 star you.

Good point in the inital match-up having a few th9.5s would really help. In my case I'm usually ranked about 8 on the map we have a few nearly maxed th10s and about 5 with max infernos. And then about 5 brand new TH10 (about a month old) who all built the defensive buildings. So problem is most of our TH10s don't have max war troops so we are able to only 2 star them.
