If you're new to the game - or if you're TH7 and lower - You still have time to save yourself from tons of headaches, ridicule and embarrassment.

WHAT IS A RUSHED TOWN HALL?

Too many people get magnetized by the thought of having the best, most upgraded base ever! Actually, there's nothing wrong about that. What most people forget, however, is that simply having the highest level Town Hall in the game, doesn't mean you're a total bad-♥♥♥.

That image above is of a player whose only focus was to bring their town hall up in the ranks as quickly as possible. They didn't realize that when you do this, you actually just look like a fool. This is what "Rushing" is.

All of their defenses, walls, and everything are all practically the same as anyone who just started playing. Their base is as useful in an actual Town Hall 10 (TH10) fight as the tenth or fifteenth goblin maps in the campaign. If you've beaten those, you could probably beat this player.

The point is, you're fooling anyone into thinking "Wow! This person is super cool and amazing!"

What happened to this player after he rushed his Town Hall? Well, you can ask anyone who has done it. I haven't met a single player that was proud of their choice to rush. They have all regretted it. (Although I'm sure there are some who still hold onto the belief that Town Hall Level means EVERYTHING)

This is what I've seen happen to people who rush their TH:

• They get ridiculed in clans and in global chat if someone realizes they rushed. I've even seen the entire global chat join in.
• They instantly get removed or rejected by clans.
• They lose resources constantly because their base is easy to overtake
• They lose war matches easily because their base is easy to overtake
• They hurt the progress of clans
• They spend months and months on the top Town Hall trying to catch up on all the time they missed upgrading buildings during lower levels
• They have poor war strategies because they lack experience (mostly due to no one wanting them in their clan)
• THEY ALWAYS REGRET IT!

Rushed Town Halls don't need to be like the one in the first photo. There are less noticeable ones, and a lot of people cave in to the temptations of the next TH level.

Here's a TH 9 who rushed from TH 8. You'll notice he hasn't upgraded almost anything to the maximum you can in TH 8. Here's what a maxed TH 8 looks like:

Much more intimidating, and the amount of dedication it took to make a base like this is immense! Much more Impressive.

Now, you don't need to go all out and upgrade every single thing in order not to rush a TH upgrade. Sometimes it can be beneficial to leave a few things that aren't totally upgraded. Why? Well when you do decide to upgrade your TH to the next level, you still want to have busy Builders. More importantly, you need to save up your resources because you're going to have a ton of new things you can purchase and build. Just make sure your builders are all freed up by the time your TH level's up so that you can quickly establish a strong base with your new buildings.

If you've nearly maxed out everything in the previous TH level, your new base will already be easy to protect and your troops already at a respectable level according to your TH's level.

So good luck, make the right decisions, plan ahead, and most of all BE PATIENT! :)

Yea this is a bad thread but ill bite.. you are fundamentally right and wrong.. your right that someone who focuses entirely on TH lvl is going to basically end up getting dominated by everyone thier equal TH lvl and they will have a hard time progressing.

your wrong in your assesment that every base with a max TH and lowe defences/walls is in fact entirely focused on TH only...

The point of rushing isnt to look cool with a red house.. its to get to the maximum offensive capacity as quickly as possible to allow you to capitalize on the ability to attack stronger players for more loot.. this is a long and heated debate and many people have very strong views on the subject and Im sure the comunity as a whole will never agree but ultimately the base you are referring to May be a newb who rushed and is about to quit the game, or it may be a good player who could 2-3 star your base all day long (or 1 star with Barch).

there are two arguments Ive heard for not rushing, one is that rushed bases are impossible to gain and keep loot: well sorry to burst your bubble but the maximum loot you can lose is 10% at th 10 up to 400k (in 4mil full storages) so actually as long as you are able to either gain more than 10% of your current loot every time you attack, or attack multiple times without logging off you can easily continue to gain loot and upgrade buildings, a rushed player has a huge ammount of upgrades availible so having under 100k Gold and elixer availible is REALLY easy to do, that means that when you raid for an average of about 200k+ of each resource from other TH 10s with your max army they return the favor by getting 100% on you and only about 10k. compare this to a TH 7 who can lose 16% of their loot up to 250k, you will be attacking out for average 125k (your opponents are th 7 and have less loot) each time and losing 16k becasue lets face it, you will get steam rolled at th 7 just as easy as at th 10 rushed.. you will get your defence up to max TH 7 level faster farming as a rushed TH 10 with high level troops than as a normal th 7.

the other one you hear is that it inflates your war points making harder oponents. this is also false. I have a rushed TH 8 (going up to th 9 soon) that is lower on our war rank than a max th 7.. this base has a max lvl farming and war army meaning I get 4-6 stars per war (usually 6 unless I really mess up) and can attack usually up to 10 base levels above myself leaving easier targets below for clan mates.. im drawing oponents at TH 7 and beating opponents at th 8 (soon 9). the enimy on the other hand WILL always be able to 3 star my base so its basically trading 3 stars for 6 however in every war it takes a TH 8 to 3 star me becasue I have an extra Air Defence, this makes my rushed base actually harder to 3 star than a max th 7 (actually there are several mid level th 7s above me with the only two in my clan who are below being pre dragon th 7s) even though my AD are very low level (only 4) and the rest of my defences are all around 3-6. at higher TH levels you have MORE defences availible so if I am number 35 on my war map the chances that the th 7 35 on the other clan will 3 star me are quite slim.

Now Im not saying rushing is for everyone, or that its always good, but myself using it as my second account (main is th 9 almost max) it has been an excellent way to enjoy the game over again and test the theory of rush vs not rush. at this point my rush base is much further along than my non rush base was for equal play time, my rush base also performs better in war drawing out more attacks or from higher ranked players and gaining more stars from harder oponents earlier. rushing is certainly a strategy I enjoy and would suggest to others who are able to catch on quickly and efficiently. there are lots of great guides out there for how to do it as well!

The second one its a fool rusher.
Have a maxxer base may be intimitading, but it is the fool way of playing.
Why do spend 6 months on th8 maxxing it, if a rusher th9 that spends 3 weeks on th8 will 3* it?

for some reason I can only see the maxer th 10 picture, not the others... they dont show.

if u try to get on a maxxer clan, so yes, u'll be rejected, otherside, if u are smart and look for right clans, this wont happens.

we farm MORE resourses then we lost constantly cuz we have strong troops, and know how to do it.

• they lose war matches easily because their base is easy to overtake

we almost ever 6* on clan wars, we know our edge, and know how to attack well.

• they hurt the progress of clans

we down the cw matchmaking. We haven't strong defenses, so, we paired with low defenses bases too.

• they spend months and months on the top town hall trying to catch up on all the time they missed upgrading buildings during lower levels

maxxers spends months and months beeing massacred by stronger th, we otherside, scare another ths, we have great heroes level, great walls (th9+) and almost empty storages, cuz we just farm when we need to.

• they have poor war strategies because they lack experience (mostly due to no one wanting them in their clan)

we have effectivly strategies, like laloon, we can 3* mostly of we mirrors on cws.

• they always regret it!

from where i got this information? I'm rusher, i wont regret. I'm in a rusher clan, we wont regret, stop telling lies and go study the game.

This right here! Probably needs to learn the difference between premie and rusher. Just watch some videos or lurk around the forums some more. But I do think the th9 is still a premie if he can't even finish cheap skulls before th9 with defenses that low.
Actually looked at pic again probably a half premie half rush ♥♥♥♥ idk. Didn't even finish the dark purps yet

Just played a clan war today that had 3 rushed th10s, 2 of them were kicked from enemy clan b4 war was over. I'm disappointed when I see numerous rushed ths in a war, most of the time it means an easy win and honestly I like when rushers use their maxed troops to farm because it means easy loot with no penalty for me. Don't put the rushers down, I need to pay for my upgrades lol

the rushing thing is all about getting a troop and spell lvl advantage over your opponent for easier wars. It's like the playground bully except they call it "strategy" or "engineering". U got the skill u can go head 2 head with an equal, u don't then rush and beat up the little kids for their lunch money.

U know what I would like to see to settle this? Two temp clans to war. One of all maxed th10s and th9s with maxed troops, one of all rushed th10s and th9s with maxed troops and let's see who wins. Now that would b intresting
