COC Needs to Allow Calling War Targets

I think clan mail and in game chat is perfectly fine for casual war clans. Nothing wrong with that. but i don't think the OPs suggestion was for casuals. If in a 24/7 hardcore war clan u can have a chat app, a website like clashcaller for claiming, and an app like twiddla to brainstorm attack strategies etc. This kind of switching between sites and apps for games is quite common for any hardcore gaming community.

If it was an issue for that particular community that was solved, I think it would be met with a really positive response.

It could be as simple as a box next to each enemy war base that someone on your team enters their name to show they are prepping to take that base. If someone else in the clan tries to attack that base then a warning could pop up and say "so and so" has this base reserved ... do you really want to attack it?


The fact that everyone has to go to outside apps and chats to coordinate a war is kind of ridiculous.


COC could make this as simple or as extensive as they want. From just calling a base to letting you leave notes on bases so you could let other members see your strategy and ideas on the base.


COC in the last update let you easily see which number base is attacking which base and that was an easy and very helpful addition. This war calling would make life much easier and keep us in COC and not bouncing back and forth into other apps.

I agree SC should revamp, the war scene, add a new war chat tab, for only war discussions, vs regular day to day social discussions. The should within the map add a place where leaders/co can place base targets for war. Things could be don for this highly popular clash of clans game, I think it is time SC revamps the interface.

What I dont understand is why casual war clans who wont use this feature argue against having it. If its there to use, hardcore war clans would greatly benefit from it. Casual war clans could keep doing what theyre doing and not worry about claiming bases. As long as everyone understood that claiming a base in a casual war clan didnt mean anything then there would be no problems with such a feature being implemented.

It would have to be a system where only one person can claim a base at a time. When the claimed base is attacked then someone else can claim it. There would be no point in a system where multiple people could claim one base.

Yes, this occurs, and the leaders ask the individuals to work it out. Our clan isn't an adult clan, but we ensure people can respect others and work together.

You can have multiple people call a target. There will just be multiple calls...but you know who called first and your clan can have a rule of attacking in that order.

Clan leaders can also call targets for their members, so members can just check to see who they should be attacking next. clashhero.com also lets leave a message for each target, so you can leave tips about what army comp to bring or things you spotted in a previous attack/replay.

there's also a more general "clan message" on the top that's not target specific that can help with clan communication. like someone else said, there's a cool down period on sending clan mail, so these tools are helpful.

my clan has a whatsapp group that we use to communicate, but more casual clans can leave notes or clan messages on the war page without having to add people as contacts on their phone.

Get a leader or co-leader to set up a clash caller ( clash caller.com )code and send it out in clan mail, all members can access this and call their bases.
