24 hours is to long. Maybe have a choice of 6, 12, 18, 24 for prepartion, and 12 or 24 for war itself

I extremely doubt it. Usually people cite that loot gain is balanced the way it is by having war be at the fixed duration it is. Also, not everyone is up to doing wars at such a speed. You would need the consent of the other clan to do such a thing fairly, and that is just too impractical to do. Even if there was a means to sort war matches out to where people have the same war prep times, that would only complicate the already complex and sometimes time consuming matching algorithm used to pair up clans. This would be a harsh limiting factor, and if used, could prevent matchups with clans that otherwise would have worked fine.
No from me. Just a bad idea all round.
