what would be the easiest way to 3 star this guy? hogs maybe because single target infernos? my hounds are level 1 and golems level 3, hogs are maxed btw. any strategy advice would be great.

Using hogs is probably your best option.
Just watch out for possible DGB(s) in the center of the base.
Gowiwi if you just need 2 stars and don't want to risk it.
