Hello all, I am a town hall 8 trying to push. I am fairly new to pushing as my record is 1813 :/. I am looking to go much further now. My defences are maxed except walls 25 % level 7/level 6 75% :smirk:(kinda rushed). My troop levels are barbarians, archers, goblins, wall breakers, Giants, balloons, all level 5, hogs level 4, minons valkryies and golems level 1 and level 3 dragons and healers. Thanks and clash on!
If you're at the stage of TH8 where you're maxed out for elixir upgrades, train up all dragons when you go sleep overnight
For pushing, I'd recommend a mixture of giants, wallbreakers, and wizards. Maybe 10-20 barbs/archers to help pick off side buildings if there are any

A member of my clan is a TH 7 who got to crystal I with defenses only. I was amazed, he showed me replays of people of his own level attacking him so bad with dragons hogs or whatever and they were losing, so maybe he's just lucky or it's easier than it seems.
I'm th8 too, I th sniped reached Crystal 2.You can also go to master with this strategy.
Upgrade to th10
max base
spend little money and 6 hour sessions
Arrive in champs.
Snipe to Crystal 1 (make sure you have loads of time and patience)
At C1 Use Mass drags (better if level 3)
Use a farming base, TH out. Maximize shield so you can rest, cook dragons while your offline.
