If they are friends and family then it should be even easier to talk to them about doing the right thing. You all have the fact you all care and respect for each other (I would assume) that should actually make your clan run smoother than most.

Ravens went around crying about how things were unfair and got a rule change because they got outsmarted. Not the type of team to be feared. (and frankly they will just get outsmarted another way, watch and see)

Colts, specifically Luck and Dwayne Allen said that they were beaten by a better team and that it meant they needed to get better. Guys like that I would bet are somewhere working on that right now even, and are to be feared.
