New feature: CLAN WIN STREAKS!

Hi, it's Anthony here with another idea! This is the new and improved Clan Win Streaks idea, (took a while to make). If you've read this thread before, I suggest you read it again as it has changed a lot!


The Problem
It's not really a "Problem" so to speak, but more of a motivation to get clans to work together and have fun, as well as encouraging to win as many wars as possible that will help them later on.

The Solution
Introducing Clan Win Streaks! With this cool new feature, the more wars your clan wins in a row, you will get extra Clan XP to help move up levels, as well as some small, fun rewards! Below is a table showing how many wins, the extra Clan XP you will gain, and the reward you unlock. Note that, say, if you have 10 win streaks you will only gain the extra XP and rewards available for that level, NOT any rewards from the first 9 levels. In other words, the bonuses do not stack.

In the case of a tie, your Clan Win Streak will not move up but it will not move down; you will not gain the extra XP or bonuses that war, but you will keep your current win streak. When you lose a war, the streak resets.

6 wins in a row	50	25% refund of war raid cost, 1 level troop upgrade for War Clan Castle
7 wins in a row	60	30% refund of war raid cost, 1 level troop upgrade for War Clan Castle
8 wins in a row	70	35% refund of war raid cost, 1 level troop upgrade for War Clan Castle
9 wins in a row	80	40% refund of war raid cost, 1 level troop upgrade for War Clan Castle
10 wins in a row	100	50% refund of war raid cost, 1 level troop upgrade for War Clan Castle

Where can I find my Clan Win Streak?
To find your Clan Win Streak, simply tap your "War Log". Above your wars fought, you will see a gold bar that says "Clan Win Streak" on the left. On the right side, will be the number of wars won in a row.

To keep with the continuity of the game, any number above 9 (since 10 is the Win Streak Cap) will have the fire graphics on it, just like if you have a maxed troop, spell, or hero.


Why is this a good idea?
This is a good idea because it adds to the fun and competition of the game, as everyone will become more anxious to win wars (and not just play for loot) because they can earn extra Clan XP faster, as well as those awesome clan perks and small bonuses each war.

Well, maybe. But I was just thinking, since it takes a total of more than 34,000 Clan XP to reach a level 10 clan, I thought 500 clan XP wouldn't be that much. And, it's generally hard to win 6 wars in a row :smirk:

But, thanks for your feedback, and I'll change it if other people feel the same way.

I like this idea. It adds more competition to wars.

I would suggest that lower streaks (2-3) should give less XP, and higher streaks (5-7) should give slightly more XP.

It would make the game much more competitive though. Hopefully the number of spies won't increase!!!

Amazing idea! But 6 in a row is not that hard, for +500 xp bonus should be 20 wars in a row or something, just a little adjustment

That is a big adjustment.

Maybe with each time the streak increases, the wars will get slightly harder perhaps? Also, the clan would have their streak decrease by one for each two days they don't war.

No, I do not think the challenge level of wars should increase as you win more wars in a row.

It would make things more competitive, which is the whole point of this idea if I'm not mistaken. Besides I mean like 2% harder than the last war.

What about 10v10 and 50v50 wars? Winning 10 wars in a row with 50v50 it's relatively harder than 10v10, you could split the xp for the streak on the amount of players that goes in the war. Tell if you dont understand, sorry for my bad english :unsure:

I don't agree with increasing the difficulty of the subsequent wars. All you need is a mismatch and we already have a lot of them. :smirk:

Only problem I would see with this is when clans plan their matchups. I know it's not 100% chance of getting the opposing clan they want but it has been shown that it can be done successfully. In that case, I'm sure people would abuse it and just get on ridiculous streaks nonstop.

You always have great ideas Anthony:D! I personally would love this idea as ClashPub is on a 13 war win streak:o

Great idea, would surely, as you said, encourage more people to attack for stars and not only for loot! And it would also make the higher-tier bonuses reachable in less time, but not too much and only if many wars are won!

What about ties? Would that be counted as a win? Would it break the win streak? I would make it so it doesn't count as a win, but it doesn't break your streak... Thats my personal idea...

And... Would you get 25XP... Then for thE next war an additional 50XP because of the win streak?

Yeah, I would probably reduce the XP or add to the XP needed to upgrade the clan... Like adding 500XP to every level XP requirement... Just a suggestion...

Ties will NOT be counted as a win, but as you said, they won't break your win streak either.

With all due respect, let's agree to disagree. :) At the maximum win streak level, 750 extra XP, this will only double or triple your XP earned. Yes, that sounds like a lot, but this is only at the maximum win streak level, and at any time you could lose a war and your extra XP would go all the way back down to 25. :) Hope you understand.

I think that the war wins stat should be done away with completely and changed with the streak, or something like your war record in the last 10 wars. After wars are out for a couple years, war wins stat will just show how old your clan it is, not how good it is at war, and clan level will do that job sufficiently. I think I'm gonna make this its own thread

I voted 'yes, but needs adjustments' because I don't think the numbers are quite right yet (Maybe still too high). But we can debate numbers all day and even after that SC would make up their own if they ever did this anyhow so it doesn't matter the numbers. So we should back up and just ask....How many think this is a fantastic concept that SC should take seriously? I do.

Also the guy that pointed out that a lot of clans do rattle off those bigger win streaks is correct. I have seen it many times. (unfortunately My own does not do it a lot, we are usually about 4 out of 5 wars won across our history, and happy with that. But we did last fall have a 17 war win streak. -> how many people remember my insufferable smack talk on the CW forum at that time?). My point being there are clans doing way better than that and these win streaks ate things they do over and over again, the few times they lose a new streak start right away.

The guys that voted no but wouldn't tell you why I think just disagree with the numbers but don't want to get into it. If I am mistaken and there is a reason this would damage the game I would like to hear it. To try to think it out all the way I will give 2 possible issues below but I really don't see either as a reason to say this is not worth SC taking under serious consideration.

1. If concern is that it would allow xp points to be earned to quickly please note my above comment about lowering them. I think they should be just barely enough to make it interesting but not enough to make or break the level up speed.
2. Faster leveling up is not something SC wants (they want it to be slow and hard while they make money off us, which is fair) so my wanting to keep the numbers lower is to make this more interesting to them.

Awesome Idea! Maybe the xp could be lowered a bit and not be as exponential. Also, this gave me another idea; maybe you should get more xp if you win against another clan that has a higher clan level than you. It would be like Pokemon xD

I dislike this idea. I think clan xp should be hard to get and left as is. Maybe 25 extra for two wins in a row or something like that but it shouldn't be any higher and shouldn't stack.

Actually, this would be a nice addition to clan levels. A+ idea for me.

Our first critical comment :)

XP does not stack, where did you get that from?

And nobody wants to wait out 10 months of constant warring back to back, winning each war, just for a level 10 clan. This idea slightly decreases the wait and doesn't even lower the time that much. And most people like this idea, so I think generally most Clashers would enjoy this addition.

Trivia/FAQ
-A tie will not count as a win, but it will not end your win streak.
-XP shown in the table is the total XP earned after the war. You do not include all the XP of the wars before it (e.g. If you have one 10 wars in a row, your clan will only win 625 extra Clan XP).

i also like the idead but clan exp is really high i think it wud be better if it wud be a constant 50 or constant 100 per win or better no exp at all lol...

actualy its not that hard imo cuz my clan highest streak was 81 wins then we lose after that... just for the first time then win streak again... anyway it depends on the level of members in the clan and on how the leader choose who to fight we got a record of 122 wins and we only lose 8x so i think its not generally hard to win 6 wars in a row

yup i think it needs tweaking, thou ur idea is great... actualy i just like the idea of getting to see ur highest winning streak in the header lol,

about the exp just need to lower it cuz many elite clans can easily abuse it, i know cuz we also have high winning streak.. and making clan lv10 easier if you got 10 winning streak = ithink 500 exp in your post or higher? meaning its much higher than the win bonus exp you get when winning 50v50 clan.. so if we reach that kind of wining streak + the exp we get from winning, you can get 800+ exp per war , thats when its can be an imbalance in the game..

again i love the idea just needs a little tweaking for balancing hope sc wud approve this if the tweaking is done..

I agree with the bolded part (and more important than what I think is that its exactly what SC thinks) but disagree with this poster that it is a reason to dislike the idea.

I do think it needs to come down a lot lot more. Its way to aggressive right now. As far as the concern stated elsewhere on this thread about how long it takes to level up that is not a good reason for this. It SHOULD take a long time, its SC's intention for it to. They want the top level to be extremely difficult to reach, a long time if ever. Remember the difference between your objective and SCs. Yours might be for you to win, but theirs is for you to play. So they want you there scratching and clawing for stuff for the longest time possible. Do not ever think that making anything easier to win makes something a good idea in their eyes.

So this needs to only be a small amount to make it interesting. it should not be any number that makes or breaks the level up rate I appreciate what the OP is doing but this is trying too hard to cling to a faster road keeping the numbers too high. Its really one of the better concepts I have seen suggested in some time, it just needs to get away from the big numbers.

One option (and if this is not what the poster meant by 'should not stack' then he has lost me there) is that instead of an increasingly fatter amount every successive win that it instead be amounts for milestones. Say the numbers stay about where they are but you got a reward at 5, 10, 15, etc.... if it was that way you could even make it more exponential because by the time anyone got to say 20, that is a heck of a feat, while we all do 5 win streaks here and there so that can be not too much. Just a sweetener.

i love this idea. i think they should also make an update where no one can join during war.

like you can only get

1-4 win streak ............... 0 exp
5-9 win streak................ 25 exp
10-14 win streak ............ 50 exp
15-19 win streak ............. 100 exp

anyway i think you get the idea... cuz 10 streak wins and you get 500 exp its too big as i told you before my clan's highest wining streak was 81 and i do believe plenty of clans of all over the world cud do it also, so i think you should set the winning streak higher to get higher exp .. cuz as the other dude says sc made it harder to lvl the clan cuz they want it that way... anyway getting 10+ wining streak is normal, whats not normal is = a feat and does deserve reward

anyway hope you get what im saying anyway im not into butting into some other guys idea but this is just an advice or my opinion only, to help peace :p

More XP helps :)

I don't like it for one reason; if there was a way to fix this then I would be all for it.

It's pretty exploitable if anyone has seen Galadon's clan versus clans videos. And there's always those clans who simply rush their townhall to get troops (I'm currently facing a level 56 townhall 9 with level 3 drags.)

And the stats do need to be increased as its rather small at the moment.

This idea has potential so do keep working on it.

I think that 1 of two things needs to happen for this to work:

1. The xp must be greatly reduced to prevent imbalance
Example:
1 win...................................+0 extra XP

4 wins in a row................+23 extra XP
5 wins in a row...............+30 extra XP
6 wins in a row...............+36 extra XP

2.The matchmaking system for wars must be adjusted to include clan war streak/total clan wins

I don't like this idea as much anymore... ClashPub's 14 win streak just ended *sniff*

I like the idea, but I think a tie should reset the win streak back to 0. A tie is simply not a win and the streak in my opinion should be broken if a match results in a tie.

Introducing Clan Win Streaks!
Clan Win Streaks is a very simple idea, but also one that could motivate more people to win wars and level up their clan. For every war you win in a row, you get an additional amount of Clan XP added to your total, with a cap of 250 extra XP each war. Here's how it works:

2 wins in a row................+25 extra XP
3 wins in a row................+50 extra XP
4 wins in a row................+75 extra XP
5 wins in a row...............+100 extra XP
6 wins in a row...............+125 extra XP
7 wins in a row...............+150 extra XP
8 wins in a row...............+175 extra XP
9 wins in a row...............+200 extra XP
10 wins in a row.............+250 extra XP

You can find the extra XP you earned right below the "Win War" row after the war is over.



Where can I find my Clan Win Streak?
To find your Clan Win Streak, simply tap your "War Log". Above your wars fought, you will see a gold bar that says "Clan Win Streak" on the left. On the right side, will be the number of wars won in a row.

To keep with the continuity of the game, any number above 9 (since 10 is the Win Streak Cap) will have the fire graphics on it, just like if you have a maxed troop, spell, or hero.



Why is this a good idea?
This is a good idea because it adds to the fun and competition of the game, as everyone will become more anxious to win wars (and not just play for loot) because they can earn extra Clan XP faster, as well as those awesome clan perks.



Trivia/FAQ
-A tie will not count as a win, but it will not end your win streak.
-XP shown in the table is not accumulative. Each row shows how much XP you will earn after that war.

Also I think the Increments are way too high.
250xp + a 50 person clan + a war win + bonus stars is a lot of clan xp every time.

I think it should cap at 10 wins in a row like you have it, but max out at 100 clan xp. I agree with your premise that people want to max out the clan perks, but this game isn't designed to reward instantaneously unless you make a purchase. For this reason I don't think clan perks should be maxed out that quick.

Yes u have to understand what Clan XP is about:

It is to keep you guys busy for a loooooong time.

Clan Level 5 allready is hard to archieve, but it is for most clans the one, that gives the most intresting feature.

Most clans dont have max level troops, with that perk they will get access to them by the +1 troop level.


Clan Win Streaks can be added, sure, but they should just be a symbolic value.

Like: +10, +20, +30, +40, +50 (that is the cap)

Supercell doesnt want, that u are reaching the goal too fast.

Well they COULD include a real big win streak up to 500, BUT than u only get Matchups against players who have the same Win streak like you, so search time would increase and mismatches are going to happen more often

I support this.
I'm not so sure about those numbers (a little high,) but of couse that's not the object of this proposition, and supercell would change the numbers if added anyway.
However, I think it would make more sense to not have to bonus kick in until a streak of 3-5. A two war win streak is not impressive and shouldn't be rewarded beyond the 400 or so xp from the actual wars.

I think this is a great general idea but that amount of xp would be to op, it should be 10 for the first 20 for the second and 30 for the third so it wouldnt be that op, winning wars is quite easy currently on a 12 win streak about to be 13 and that would be granting us 120xp bonus which would be great.

What about extra CC storage??
