Recent Th9. Just finished three of four wiz towers. Skull walls. Still having issues with lvl 6 giants. I'm noticing in my attacks and looking at the replays against my village cannon appear to do more damage to giants than mortar or archer towers. Upgrade cannon to take on lvl 6 giants or what? ( only one Tesla working to lvl 7 so its non functional..rest are lvl 6)
Could you post a pic of your base? It could be that attackers are drawn to attacking you based on your layout.
As a TH9, I have rarely ever gotten all-out attacked even with both xbows down and pushing to masters. I would say 1/20 attacks on me they don't snipe the TH and only about 1/4 of those attacks actually do damage.
In general for the upgrades you mentioned, I would advise:
1) Teslas (gowipe defense and all around GREAT tower)
2) Archer towers (air attacks on TH9 become more popular in higher leagues/war)
3) Cannons/Mortars - your choice.
