Why some people don't get movie ticket?
I stopped getting the movie tickets with advertisements a year ago after around a week... I don't know if diamonds were purchased on my account or what happened, but I know all my friends get them and have hundreds of diamonds and I have 20 (which I can only get from my mine or when your service is down). I need this fixed... People are doing better than me simply because of the movie tickets.
Any help?
Movie tickets is a rotating random perk. No one can say for sure who will get them, when, for how long. Some claim that purchasing diamonds causes them to stop but we've got several posts saying that they continued after diamond purchases or came back after a few months or disappeared when diamonds were never purchased. So....it's random.
There are several ways to get diamonds free within this game, not just maintenance gifts and the mine. The Diamond Hunter Thread is the best collection of different ways to find diamonds. You'll find this most useful in growing your diamond stash.

I have been reading this exact same thread (different names, same content) for over two years. SC's response never changes. I have, also, never even seen one of these movie trailers. I don't buy diamonds, and I don't lack for them either. SC has given us so many opportunities for gathering diamonds in the normal course of play that I've never cared.
This is my take on these trailers. They are ads that some other company is paying SC to show. These ads have target audiences in target countries. If your demographics don't match up with what the advertiser is looking for, you aren't going to be considered to get them. If you do match, then, I'm sure the advertiser has to pay SC for each person they share those trailers with, so the advertiser will limit how many receive them. After that, random. Just my opinion.
I also have the same problem. I didn't get any ticket for 1 year 5 month after I got 60s level. I also email report my problem to solve problem section on a game twice, but it's not work.
So I just play and get diamond from mine,fishing and open box. It's not easy like watch ads, but if anytime you pay some activity with diamond such as hire Tom or creat fishing net, etc.. You can get diamond back easy than just keep or didn't use any of them.
I don't care ads now, ( sigh..) if I didn't get it. It's just feel like I didn't receive a lucky cuz they said by randomly. Anyways, I'm not sure about target countries ads method cuz my friends still have a ticket. In the other hands I didn't get any. The thing i can do that just watching them with a little envy eyes. I agree that it's not random, you have to match the demographic to get them, and that is why some of us have never, ever, seen these, even after playing for over two years. Wrong age, wrong country? Who knows? Just keep searching out those diamond tool chests - it's all you can do.
