Trophy matching question

I have an alt account which I made purely for war, it's TH9 with Max hogs, lavaloon etc.
However the only defense it has is:
Level 1 canon (forced to build in tutorial)
BK
AQ
CC
All skull walls

I've got bored of farming on it now, but would still like to progress to TH10 slowly by living off collectors.

I figured with smart base layout I could drop to 300-500 trophies and use what little I had (+strong CC troops) to fend off noobs.
I only care about elixir and DE so they are centered with the CC,BK and AQ while I leave the gold and TH free for enemy to take.

I pushed to masters a week ago for the gems before dropping down to 400 trophies where I am now, since then EVERY raid against me has been by people with 1200-2600 trophies.

Are people still revenge'ing me a week down the line or will the system not allow me to hide down here?
