TH8 Clan War Attack

I have many thoughts...

How would you attack this base?

All spells maxed, L2 Golem, L3 Drags, L2 Pekka, L5 Loons, L4 Hogs

This is quite uncommon at th8 but a holowiwi is your best bet. Take out the outer circle of defenses with your loons(about 2-3 loons per defense). Then take care of cc troops. Then send in your hogs(20-25). They have no where to go but the core. Three stars if heals are dropped when needed.

Gowipe using the following troops

2 golems
9 wb
18 wiz
2 pekka
cc - Max pekka

Not really I regularly 3 star these bases but I do have level 3 pekka already. Most important part is the max pekka in cc

Hmm, I'm not sure I'm following & would have to research. Might you know of any videos that show the attack you're describing, on a fairly similar base?

Yeah, I was leaning GoWiPe. The TH6 walls don't strike fear as if they were, say, TH8 walls.

My Pekkas are close to L3, so I might nudge that along...

As far as 2 vs. 3 stars, yeah, I tend to agree that GoWiPe tends to 2 star, but we often see 3-stars if we're rocking L3 pekkas on TH8s.

Totally avoid hogs?

I would avoid hogs in this base. Judging from the gaps in his base the bombs are placed all on outer edge of wall near defences.

I would be very confident in scoring three stars with gowipe but again it's only if you can req a max pekka in cc

I can only get a L3 pekka in my CC, but I still think it's doable with that to be honest. I will have L3 pekkas by the time I attack as well.

Where would you start your GoWiPe from?

Army composition is also on my mind. 2 pekkas or 3? hmmm...

I think the best is to come in from 11:00, as the WBs should easily open up the section with the mortar in it, but I'm concerned about pathing after that (WBs could easily path to either wiz tower core)

I go in with 3 pekkas. If you can let others Attack that base first to find out where the telsa are hiding. If not I would Attack from 11-12 side spreading the golems slightly apart to soak in all defence damage
