If u had a hidden tesla and planted it far away from ur base , would it count in the percentage of the attack even if it wasn't triggered. Would that mean the opponent would get two stars if they can't find the tesla?

Good question... But i would want my teslas help defending.
Dafuq.. never thought about that! If it's correct the opponent's troops will walk to your "hidden" Tesla (after destroying the other buildings as you said in your example) and your "hidden" Tesla will pop up when they reach its damage area.
Could someone test it? Or does someone know the answer?
It appears after certain triggers are met (don't remember at the moment which ones) and need also to be destroyed to achieve 3 stars.

Afaik, the Tesla's all appear when a certain amount of damage is reached. I've seen it before in attacks, no troops near, but the Tesla's deployed after I neared 100%.
All available teslas are activated when 50% of buildings been destroyed, so yes theyre part of those 100%
Yes, I remember from replay that my Tesla pop up at some point without any enemy nearby. Good to know that it pops when 50% damage (I thought it was based on time).
I thought about doing this about a month ago tried it once and it didn't work very well. I attacked someone who did this also and it didn't stop me from getting 100%. Teslas are more effective when surrounded by walls in my opinion

As soon as you hit 51% in your raid all teslas will pop up regardless of whether you trigger them. Watch it next raid ;).
Teslas pop up after 75% or 2 stars anyway. Plus who wouldn't want fast firing defences quickly killing archers;)
