I did a short search on the forum and couldn't find any post that had this idea in it.
There has been a lot of talk about another level of storages.
Dragon-Caves has been discussed, with the benefit of an AOE on units hitting the Storage dealing 1-3 dmg/second.
However, my idea is nothing like that.
Say Supercell was to implement a lvl 12 storage, but instead of doubling the quantity like usually, instead make it unbreakable.
Unbreakable meaning: Whatever loot is inside the Storage, it will not be looted until the Storage has died.
Say you're attacked by a brutal force of Goblins, and they bash through your walls and hammer your storages, but are taken out by Mortars and Wizards right before it dies.
With this upgrade, your ressources are safe and so is much of your base also.
Of course, most of the time an attacked Storage is usually destroyed, but in those rare cases where they are not.. Ressources are kept safe.
