nothing will fix this, I was able to play fine yesterday with no issue.

Another Option is resetting your phone, but you would lose pics and stuff! Anyways hope the best for you and happy clashing!
well I did that, It didn't do anything at all.

I can, but it will have to wait until tomorrow. all nearby access points are locked.

How much did you wait for that "Downloading Content" before quitting and trying again?
I'm having the same problem but with my iPad Air. I've done everything I saw on every website, from restarting everything to resets, changing wifi connection, uninstalls, etc. My game stays on downloading text for as long as I leave it there, it stayed 15min like that but it works fine in my iphone4.. This is just annoying.
i scoured the web, Apple forums, game sites, you name it...not many posts about game not loading except in this forum. I updated to iOS 8.3 and Ive done everything you did and still won't load. On HayDay it goes back and forth between "Connecting" and "Updating". My ClashOfClans startup screen keeps restarting over and over.
Are we able to contact support by all I can find is to "contact us" through the game - but I can't load the game!!
well, I've still got nothing, i went to a couple more Access Points nearby and still the using another internet doesn't work full phone shut-down and all.
I am having the same problem too. I also have tried everything but I'm on a IPad 3.
Your original post was about the same time SC did a Clan War double XP update.
On the update they did prior to this ONE my device did what yours is doing.
EYE waited for a while, tried a few things, and finally uninstalled the app.
When EYE reinstalled it worked.
Perhaps, try uninstalling & reinstalling, again.
