Will be a TH10 soon, have questions

No turning back, no second thoughts.
Apparently i'm only 17 days short of lab upgrades and 41 pieces of lava walls short.
BK is going to be 20 soon and AQ is 15, pretty lowish because i mostly farm goldlix in 1700s.

So i have a lot of questions for pro farmers, seasoned veterans, and struggling premmies alike.

Farming :
99% of my friends and clanmates say that TH10 farming suck and they say TH10 will at most make roughly 70% of what TH9 capable of. So...
1. How to make a good start as a TH10?
2. Which troops should be upgraded first?
3. What to make of farming without tier 7 troops?
4. Is DE really terrific up there?

War and TH9.5
1. Do you consider taking the 9.5 route?
2. If you go the TH9.5 route how to make a good start of it?
3. Do you consider taking the TH9.5A route? (A = air, which is skipping cannons and mortars in addition to infernos)
4. Do you even consider taking the TH9.5O route? (O = offense, which is skipping every defense upgrades)

Will update the thread for any TH9 who has questions for TH10 perhaps made a FAQ out of it after i've became a TH10 myself. Your feedback is much appreciated :)

I'm a high level Townhall 10 and yes when I upgraded, farming became harder as you only get 50% from th 8s. So I'd recommend you increase your trophies, gold farming is more of a th 9 thing. Crystal and master has a larger amount of th 10s and 9s you can farm. Also remember no more th 8s,means harder bases. So barch may not be able to work anymore, personally I use bloonion.

And as for lab upgrades, just do whatever you use the most. There is no perfect order.

So apparently going 250 lava as a TH9 is the right decision... How about the DE? I heard it's impressive up there.

Farm
Do you boost raid at all? Loot is not an issue if you do any.

TH10 raiding just has a transition period where you adapt and wait on troop upgrades/spells/camps to get caught up, then it is business as usual just at higher leagues.

As far as the de goes; When you have 3 max drills free de is awesome, and you can raid de in Masters 3 alone easy as Th10 once you are full strength.

This really depends on your clan and what your goals are for the game.

I have spoken with my members who are in later stages of th9 that when they are ready for TH10 they take the 9.5 route until they are able to hit th10s consistently.

Get full camps space, CC, spells, freeze spell and some troop upgrades such as hounds and minions

. And just get new traps and point defenses up to current lvl, and work on air D in the meantime, saving infernos and xbow for later stage.

I do but what i'm supposed to do when my troops are being upgraded? A friend of mine told me it's a limbo of resources and only by sniping THs i could progress in early stages of TH10 :S
Okay so DE is not a problem which is a good thing... But can you farm consistently with gibarch in M3 without any heroes?

Okay so apparently it's better to go the TH9.5 route. I guess i'm dropping the inferno for awhile. But what do you make of TH9.5A, which rules out cannons and mortars? I'm confident enough with the state of my walls

Dang dude, you farmed walls really well, can you give me some tips? :D Rather than answers I just have more questions, keep up the nice work, just wondering why your heroic heist is so low.

Really? This friend of mine Ed from Medan Ranger have twice my GG/EE and half the playtime.
I farm with 2 barracks boosted, 1 for barbs, 1 for archers. 1 unboosted barracks for archers and the last one is for barb/wbs. I always try to bring 15-20 minions, 10 wbs, and keep queen healthy. CC is filled with giants.
Whenever a 300k/300k TH8 raid pops up, giants, wbs, and AQ demolishes them.
Spells are 1 lightning (for CC), 1 heal (for really tough TH9 raid), and 2 rage.
All of this is done in trophy range of 1700~1900. With this method you can expect 3mill gold and elixir per session not including DE.

My HH is really low i know, i could've farmed 50k DE in 2 sessions but i heard farming DE is much easier up there in TH10 so i prioritize walls in TH9. Also because i don't find farming DE from TH8 without AQ very efficient.

So some people might b horrified by this but I farm with giants, archers/barbs and goblins in crystal 2 as a th10 and while granted th8s aren't worth it anymore, it's certainly made up for by th9s and 10s that r. I'm not a trophy pusher, I farm for defence and troop upgrades for war, so I'm happy with that, others it might not suit though. I really feel I'm making as much as I did when I was th9 and because I'm only half way through maxing it suits me fine. So in short I wouldn't worry. Just find the right league, and u can farm for all those new upgrades np :) it's really not as bad as some folk make out. Unless u rushed, then u r farmer candy, but clearly u haven't. Btw I didn't go the point 5 route. I got infernos and my new xbow as soon as I could. I went 2 th10 cause I wanted to b a th10, otherwise I would have stayed a 9. When I turned th10 I started those and lvled up new defences no regrets whatsoever. I maxed my war troops first because I love war, but if u prefer farming id max giants first, they really r fierce

i'm a TH 10 with a few lego and level 12 heroes, have no problem in farming in C3 with GIBAM with only archer lv7, but im struggle in war, with low level freeze spell, heroes and pekka, it's hard to get star coz i face enemy that had IT, even with lavaloon coz i currently studying it
