Amber means put me in if necessary. Since wars are rounded to five, this could be beneficial

Edit: Nvm, I read this wrong. I thought you were referring to a default of amber after each war.
i agree with Axion. If in doubt - opt out.
If a leader needs to opt you in to make up the numbers, then that's their decision. In our clan if we have to force-opt people in we don't force them to attack on that occasion.
Green and red are enough, we don't need a rainbow
Instead of amber mode set yourself to green. The leader can then decide whom he wants to bring to war. I exclude at least 5 members every war that are green because I think they are not an advantage for the clan when fighting and have to improve (for example th7s without dragons, th8s with weak ad, player that attacked bad/only once last war etc.)
absolutely should be implemented!!!
"you can put me in if you need to fill space, but don't expect me to attack" kinda thing
and the default setting should be "I'm out" btw.
I don't think it would be good. I do not ever want anyone straining even in the slightest to war. If a person has any reason to feel iffy about it I want them out. I know they all thirst for action so anything other than green means something's up in their lives. Whatever their other need is that makes it iffy I would want them to feel totally free to give it full priority. So even if they added this it would useless because yellow would equal red.
Making numbers not a problem. What we do is opt in our lowest 'opted out; guy with the understanding his attacks have to be covered. Never a big deal.
