First of all, (having been in only 2 clans) I'm very loyal. However, my current clan is not working for me. Second, I am one of the Top Elders in my clan, and as such I was involved in making all the rules for the clan. The problem is that at the moment none of the rules are being upheld. Especially by the majority of the elders and my hands are tied due to the fact that half the clan are real life family/friends. This has led to the other half slowly leaving the clan once they realize there is favoritism.

Example of clan rules:
(1) 300 per week minimum donations (2000 for elders or get demoted)
(2) Level 5+ archers to join (default for donations)
(3) Donated to all pending troop requests before you ask for donations.
(4) We don't say thank you for the donations we receive. We give troop requests priority in the chat box. (chatting is allowed as long as all requests have been filled)
(5) Donations/Requests Ratios allowed (sample using minimum donations per week): 1:1 or 300/300 is ideal, 1:2 or 300/600 is ok, 1:3 or 300/900 is fine, 1:4+ or 300/1200+ you're a leech and get kicked.

I've taken a look at your clan's donations and while they are better then my current clan, it looks like some of your members (some of which are elders) won't even make 300 donations this week based on their current donations. How are you handling this?

I would like to try your clan but first tell me (based on my current clan's rules) what you have to offer. I wouldn't want to leave my clan in vain. Why should I make the switch to King of Thieves (assuming you'll have me, that is)?

Hi Memnoch7!

Looks like you have some very valid questions for us and how strict we are on policies. This is how we handle things in Thieves:

1. I keep track of donations each week and if members or elders do not meet the requirements, they will make the "boot list" which is handled every Sunday. All elders use a chat app and are presented with the list and asked how they would like to proceed with the boots/demotions. Most of the time, if you are a regular member and have not met the 300 donation requirement on any given week, you will be booted. If you are an elder, you will be demoted. The only way that demotion/booting can be prevented is if you give either an elder or I a valid excuse for that week like, vacation, out of town for work, traveling etc. The basis behind this, is that we not only want strong players in the clan, but also very active ones as well, but we do understand that Life issues take priority over a game. Also, some leniency may be given to long time members as well as we do value loyalty, but will not put up with abuse of it.

2. We are being very strict on our entry policy as well. We are currently only allowing level 90+ players with level 6 archers, since archers are our default donation. Some players may be turned away for having severely under-developed bases because we are looking for strong players. Also, we are going to set a tentative date in August that we would like all members to have upgraded their archers by.

3. We do not have a policy on the donate first before requesting because it has never been a problem. Our requests are generally filled within several seconds so there has been no need for a set rule.

4. We try to be cordial when asking and receiving troops, but thanking people is not required. Just appreciated. As for chatting, chatting is not a problem since our requests are filled so quickly.

5. As for the the ratio, we have not set a policy in regards to ratio. The reason for this is, in general, the majority of our players are so active that the ratio does not matter. But, if by chance we were to have a member or a new player to join, and they seemed to be a leach, I would openly ask the player to donate more, or they would be booted. But, if it were to become and issue with ratio's for some reason, I would take it to my elders to decide on a policy.

As for anything else of importance that may come up, I try to involve the elders as much as possible on decisions such as putting topics to vote, etc. And at the very least, try to get their opinions on matters first, before I make an executive ruling on an issue. My elders have been with us a long while and I truly value their opinions on clan matters. Thieves is as much their clan as it is mine. :D

Anyways, as for you... We would love to have you join! It sounds like you honestly would be a perfect fit for what we are looking for in our members. You appear to be loyal, active, mature, and have a true passion for the game. We could not ask for anything more in a new member! :D

Hi I am level 91 and addicted to farming. I have only ever been in one clan and give 2500 + a week but my clan is starting to be less active and it is bothering me. I like to give Dragon level 3 as well though because I have too much elixir so I just wondered also if that interests your clan. I have archer 6.
