don't like it. we would all lose more loot more often.
I like it. It wouldn't cause us to lose more loot. Our shields would still work and be implemented the same. No one here seems to know how the revenge system works in the first place, which tells me it could be fixed. I would love to get revenge on people more, but hate the fact that I can never find someone to get revenge on. They should either have a shield timer or something to show you when you that player may be up to seek revenge.
How do you think giving people to do more revenges will NOT cause people to lose more loot? It's simple math. More people revenge, more people lose loot. Maybe you should put yourself in the situation:
How it is now:
You attack 20 villages. Over a week's time, you get revenged 3 times.
How you want it:
You attack 20 villages. Now that people have a better option to know when they can revenge you, over a week's time, you get revenged 6 times. That's a 100% increase.
I know how the revenge system works. Someone attacks me, I have a chance to revenge them until the defense log cycles out. It's not rocket science.
You said it yourself. You want to be able to get revenge on people more. This means more people will lose loot. Be happy that they can't revenge you because you are online and they don't want to sit there and tap "Revenge" for 2 hours straight.
Read the sticky thread, that is listed as ruled out, as "*Revenge list indicate online/shielded or currently attackable without having to click each person’s button"
Would like to detail why, but already have, and should be findable in a search, and not going to go off on a tangent on this thread.
Call me crazy, but I think people are missing the point on the cause of the revenge feature being impractical for most people.
I have revenge attacked many bases since I had fun as a TH7 burning other TH7s and TH8s villages with the arguably overpowered dragons. I still do revenge, but my attack methods had to change since I couldn't do the same strategy on TH9s.
I did a count, and for some reason my list of 35 entries in my defence log has been chopped down to 30 for weeks or a month or so, but anyway, I counter 3, just three non-farming base attackers on my log! I gave up counting farming bases, since the awkwardness of the log make me screw up where I left off and in turn mess up my count.
3 (three) out of 30 (thirty), attackers are people that use an exposed Town Hall base! Yet I've had more than enough chances to attack back , which gave me time to attack most on my terms :smirk: But that's just me. You have to be checking often to even hope to pull off what I do :(, which frankly is stupid! Shouldn't have to be that obsessive.
So I sit arond in Gold III, beating up on TH7s, and looting abandoned bases, and I get hit by people from Silver II to Gold II, and I get that as a ratio, 1:10. Likely because my base is no push over, keeping all but the smarter or over confident players from attacking. And so, this is why this raises the farming base raito in my log, because last I checked, 2:3 active bases in Gold III are farming base.
So logically/obviously we should be hating on those dirty farming base users for ruining our game, and punish them for cowaring under a shield. (Wrong! Logic error!)
Wait, ok.. how about we just make it so we can revenge, even though they have a Shield. (Nope! That'd cause a riot!)
Ok, fine  How about an easier way to see who has a shield or is online (Sorry, Supercell has ruled out most common ideas for this)
 If you are so smart, tell us what would work?! (Well, I have. And only a few people listened before things got buried by spam )
The crazy reason I think is causing this: The gameplay for defence sucks! Almost nobody wants to tolerate it, and once they find out about the farming base concept, they flock to it. Is it thier fault for wanting to prevent the game from being unfun for themselves? (if you say 'yes', get out you troll)
The few people with a more 'traditional' base that do attack me, and are not a farming base, I have almost ready access to them to attack back, but they do get Barcher raided or wrecked. And I would attack them much soon if they EVER held enough loot to be worth it! (if it isn't one thing, it is another...) So yeah, i have seen what effects there would be for non-farming bases, and it does help open things up for attackers.
No offence to the OP, but many of these ideas are just symptom treating or bandaid fixes. :( At least the way I see it, it is... I'd have more ideas on how to fix this if more people met me half way. But no, why bother when nice and safe using the Shield as your 'defence'. If I wasn't so stubborn and idealistic, I would have a farming base as well.
This idea of mine is not a way to fix a problem, because there is no problem whatsoever in the first place. All I'm asking is to have a button in which it will give you a list of available village you can have your revenge on. This will not affect shielded/online villages. And not because your village appear on this list, it will be automatically attacked. There are some villages that is not revenge-worthy. Why would you have a revenge on a village that has no loot? Why would you have a revenge on a village that has no trophy? Some concepts of revenge, like having a countdown before the shield wears off, is totally unfair. Because it will give you an idea when to attack that village. My idea doesn't have that. All I'm asking is to have a list to filter those revenge-able villages, this would save us more time when having a revenge, instead of searching for a village in the defense log, only to find out that almost all of them are shielded/online.
Bump. Bump.
Even that is likely too close to the ruled out idea that's listed :(
It isn't my call, that's just how it is.
Im tired of people stealing away lots of my hard earned loot then someone takes it away
