This is an actuall strategy. Though these people are doing it more than the normal. Some people will max a th, lets say 8, and upgrade to th9. Once getting th9, they will not build any new buildings but will upgrade labratory and spell factory. They will then max th9 troops, and after that build the th9 defences. This makes for easy wars but u can still 3 star a max th9. Very clever strategy
My bad. I thought the TH10s and 9s that were sitting in those TH6s were just really rushed. If they got the system to think of them as TH6s then that is exploiting.:facepalm:Quote:

A lot of good points made in this thread. I am the OP, by the way. First, let me say this -- I do agree that this is a clever manipulation of the game mechanics. My main question was whether or not the explicit creation of multiple accounts to exploit the matchmaking algorithm was against the terms of service. This question was answered rather quickly, to which I say thanks. Multiple accounts used to be against the TOS (to the best of my recollection). And to the guy who thinks that Bnl Korea 1, Bnl Korea 2, Bnl Korea3, ..., Bnl Korea 10 are different people that just happened to come up with their names by chance... well, I've got a bridge to sell you.
But there are few misconceptions here that I feel need to be addressed. The most important one is that a TH9 the game rates as a TH6 (or even TH7 or 8!) is NOT the same thing in a clan war situation as a vanilla TH6 (or 7 or 8!). A TH9 with lv2 hounds and lv6 balloons can absolutely flatten any TH8 or below, and many TH9s as well. Meanwhile, its defenses need not necessarily be far below those of a standard TH6. By not leveling any other units besides hounds and balloons, its offensive rating is not going to be particularly high. Extrapolate this out: an entire clan of pseudo TH6s versus a clan of real TH6s. Who has the advantage?
Finally, I have say that I respectfully disagree with your opinion, Tinkerbell. If an exploit causes the game to be played in a manner not intended by the game developers, then it absolutely should be patched out. Think about basketball before the advent of the shot clock -- teams used to pass the ball around continuously whenever they got a lead. A game played in 1950 was settled by a score of 19 to 18. What if this approach becomes more commonplace? Would this fall in line with the developers' intentions?
And to those curious, we're probably going to lose this war. Their TH9s and 10s masquerading as 6's and 7's would have been three starred anyway. But because the game rates them so low (despite their offensive capabilities!), we've got a huge mismatch at the top end -- multiple bases with max heroes, while our TH10s tend to have hero levels in the teens and twenties. Not over till it's over, but...
Right now we are versing a Japanese clan, the clan itself has two rushed accounts, one being a th9 with lvl 2 hounds and maxed loons aswell as spells; the other one is a th8 with lvl 3 drags and lvl 4 lightning (just enough to drag a th8 for a three). These two accounts have nothing upgraded other than the troops stated. So far they both got an extra 5 stars. Also, because of these accounts, we were horribly mismatched. Every th9 in that clan is maxed except one, who has a couple arch towers to do. #2-8 are fully maxed on defenses and all have lvl 9 walls. (Some have most level 3) All we have are two maxed th9's with 1/4 level 9 walls complete.
This is completely exploiting the system and needs to be stopped. I get being paired with a clan a little over you, but this exploit literally fits us with people whose heroes are 5-10 over our highest guys. This exploit lets the enemy clan skew the war too much in their favor. This is ch3ating (i guess thats a cuss word in SC's eyes..) no matter what. Even if it is smart, you are exploiting a flaw in the system to easily win any wars with nothing stopping you. Leave it to Asians to find this out..
Maybe we have just been lucky but we have never lost 2 a rusher clan. Most of the time while they have the troops they lack the experience to use them. I hope this is the case for u and u win. Some people enjoy easy wars and beating up smaller ths. It's not my cup of tea, but I accept people do it because some people enjoy easy more than challenging. It's like people changing their device time on candy crush lol

3 max elix storage (ballon lv max cost 6.000.000) or 4 max elix storage to unlock max freeze spell
2 max gold storage ( Upgrade to TH 10 = 4.000.000 gold)
DE storage lvl 5 (150k capacity enough to unlock any max dark troops)
4 barrack level 6 (unlock ballon)
2 max dark barrack (unlock all)
Max Laboratory
Max Spell factory
4 Max Army Camp
How much gem needed for all of that? if you don't gem the time ? how long you do it with 5 builders ?
