Fishing net fail

So I paid diamonds to hurry my fishing for the derby and I never recieved anything on my net. I just unlocked my net so it's new to me, but did I click something wrong? It's disappointing to use diamonds to hurry up the time and then to not recieve anything from it. This has completely disappointed me. What a waste of time and diamonds.

If you read the discription of the fishing task it says "catch 90 lbs of fish with lures". So you have to use lures. Sorry but fish caught in nets don't count.
